A week after the full moon Edith was back to normal and was released back into the Hogwarts world. She was happier, than ever before. Mainly because she knew they wouldn't abandon her no matter what. And secondly is because she knew and they didn't care, who she is. What's she is. Viewing her as the same old Edith. Lily found out and apologized repeatedly of course Edith forgave her and everything seemed to be looking up. The marauders got back into the usual works playing pranks, playing quidditch and just being together just the five of them and sometimes Lily who James seemed to be smitten for. Edith had missed some classes but with the help of Lily and Remus she got back into the swing of things easier than ever.
With the rise of the dark lord precautions were put in place like no going outside Hogwarts grounds and Hogsmeade and they now had guard statues at every entrance to the castle. But for people going through a time of Wizarding war, Hogwarts was still home and The marauders seemed to be happier then ever.
Before you knew it October was in full swing and Halloween was approaching The Marauders favorite holiday.
"I heard Dumbledore has an announcement for us." Lily gushes as she and the five marauders walk to the great hall for dinner. "Does he now my Lily Flower?" James asks hand slung around her shoulder making her blush red as James whispers words in her ear.
Edith cannot help but feel a little jealous, she was close to the marauders they were family. But she had never had a proper person to call hers. Which was okay, but with Hogwarts coming to a close next year. Now is the ideal time to meet people.
The group sit down in the comfort of the great hall with the warmly lit candles above and the welcoming feeling of chatter from all tables. The marauders sit in their usual position Remus next to Peter and on the opposite side Lily and James next to each other and on James's other side, Sirius who is sitting next to Edith.
"Settle down Children!" Dumbledore announces standing from his spot. "This is an announcement for fifth, sixth and Seventh years as it seems like something you would want to go to." He says as the tables quite down. "Over the winter break those staying with us if you are in the said years will be hosting a Yule Ball"
Cheers can be heard across the hall. As well as disappointed sighs from younger years.
Peter turn to the group as soon as Dumbledore is done talking "Are we going as a group?" He questions.
James lets out a slight chuckle. "Sorry Wormtail, I will be going with my Lily flower."
Lily lets out a sweet laugh and jokingly crosses her arms "Will you now?" she asks.
"Do you not want to go with me?" James teases back.
"Maybe not" Lily laughs playing along.
"Its okay, I am sure I will find someone else" James replies. "Sirius buddy, I have know you since first year will you do me the honor of going with me to the ball?" He asks so serious that you can tell he is trying desperately not to laugh.
This makes all of the marauders burst out laughing and Sirius to shake his head "Sorry James, I have my eye set on someone else."
"Oh, yes your mystery crush!" James says louder then necessary.
"Why don't you ask out her?" Edith questions Sirius who cheeks turn a light pink.
He runs is hand through his long hair "I doubt she will say yes." He sighs.
"I think she will" Remus replies his head in a book.
Edith watches Sirius face suspiciously. You know over these past years he has changed, less playful and bashful with the girls. More Serious finally living up to his name. Edith cannot lie and say she doesn't feel a little jealous of this mystery girl he believes to be so perfect.

The days pass and Halloween is today making the Marauders so happy having spent the night sneaking around in James' invisibility cloak and secret passages setting up pranks. The only thing better than the pranks was their outfits that had picked out.
That how they find themself awake mega early getting ready. Edith tucks her hair into a pointy hat on her head and green robes. She is supposed to be Professor McGonigal. She walk back into the Marauders shared dorm to see Remus as Horace Slughorn with a wig and cushions stuffed into his stomach. James as Hagrid with massive boots on his feet and cushions in his stomach with shabby clothes. She sees Peter dressed as Filch with a peach swim cap on with some holes in it fake grey hair dangling by his side and black robes with even a fake grey cat on his shoulder.
Last but not least there was Sirius Black dressed in a long grey wig and a long grey beard wearing some fancy blue robes. He laughs as Edith enters. "Minnie, don't you look ravishing?" He asks in a Dumbledore like voice.
Edith Replies "That is right Albus" she says trying not to laugh as she slips on half moon classes.
With that Lily enters the room dressed as a princess. She looks around the room and the at the marauders then James before bursting out laughing.
"Is something wrong my Lily flower?" James asks walking closer to her. She laughs even harder and through wheezes says "I am sorry if I couldn't take you five seriously now, I definitely won't be able to today."
The group leave the common room to let the pranks begin.

By the end day all teachers have 'I love The Marauders' written on their arm in permanent ink. They have turned all houses except from Gryffindors hair bright red and gold. It was a good day and best of all even though they did it all and everyone knew it was them they didn't get detention.
