The next couple of moths flew by. Edith did in fact find out that Peter Pettigrew was alive. But no sign of Sirius he was not on Hogwarts grounds.
Edith went down to the forest at a reasonable time, quickly shifting in the forest. But a scent caught her nose. One she hadn't smelt in years.

"Scabbers!!!" Ron shouts running after the rat next to the whomping willow.
"Ron run!" Harry shouts but Ron has his hand extended pointing behind Harry and Hermione.
"Harry run, its the grim!" He shouts.
The dog runs full speed at the pair to only jump over them and drag Ron into the whomping willow.
Suddenly the whomping willow gets protective but eventually the two made it in.
"Where does this go?" Hermione asks.
"I have a hunch, I just hope I am wrong." Harry says leading them through the passageway. Eventually entering a building.
"We are in the shrieking shack, aren't we?" Hermione ask and Harry just nods.
"Ron!" Harry says running over to the red headed boy crying out in pain.
"Harry, Harry, it is a trap!" He says pointing towards the door "He is the dog, he is an Animagus!"
The paw prints lead to behind the door which swings shut and there in ragged clothes and uneasy breaths his face and hair dirty his chest covered in tattoo's stands Sirius Black.
"If you want to kill Harry you will have to kill us to." Says Hermione standing Infront of Harry.
"Only one will die tonight!" Says Sirius cryptic as ever.
Harry suddenly gets a burst of confidence. "Then it will be you!" He says moving to strangle Sirius around the neck. Harry then sits on top of the man wand pointed to his face "Are you going to kill me Harry?" He asks laughing.
Suddenly the door bursts open and Remus tattered as ever walks in shouting "Expelliarmus!" Leaving Harry without a wand. Remus tilts his head to the side signaling for Harry to move. He is quick to climb off the criminal and back into the corner with Ron and Hermione.
Remus slaunters over "Well, well Sirius." He says until he stands Infront of him "Looking rather ragged aren't we? Finally the flesh reflects the madness within."
"Well you would know all about the madness, really? Wouldn't you Remus?" Sirius asks in the same jokey voice he always has had. This is all Remus knows to know it is him, he hasn't changed. It is the Sirius he knew years ago.
Remus breaks into a smile and lowers his wand helping the so called 'criminal' up. They are quick to hug each other manly, patting the others back. "How is she? How is she? I found him, he is here." He whimpers slightly.
"I know, I know." Remus replies holding his arms to steady him. "I understand."
"Lets kill him!" Sirius says.
Hermione moves forward "No!" She shouts "I trusted you, Edith trusts you and all this time, you have been his friend." she says scowling at Remus and Sirius.
"Is she here, at Hogwarts? Is she really here?" Sirius asks Remus a look of excitement in his eyes.
A howl echoes the grounds and Sirius looks hopefully in the direction of the castle. "Is that her?" He asks smiling.
"Yes" Is all Remus can manage before Hermione starts to shout again.
"He is a werewolf!" She says pointing at Remus "That is why him and Edith have been missing classes."
"How long have you known?" Remus asks an undetectable look on his face.
"Since Professor Snape set the essay." Is her reply.
"Well, well, well Hermione. You really are the smartest witch of your age." Remus says him in deep thought.
"Enough talk Remus, come on, let's kill him!" Sirius moans.
"Wait!" Replies Remus.
"I did my waiting! Away from Blue! Twelve years of it, In Azkaban!!!" He shouts not necessarily directed at anyone.
Remus hands Sirius his wand "Very well, wait a minute Harry has the right to know why."
"I know why!" Harry says his voice full of emotion "You betrayed my parents! Your the reason that they are dead!" He cries.
"No Harry it wasn't him, somebody did betray your parents and it was someone until quite recently me and Edith believed to have been killed!!!" Remus shouts in his teacher voice.
"Who was it then?" Harry spits.
"Peter Pettigrew!" Sirius shouts. "And he is in this room! Right now! Come out, come out Peter!" Sirius shouts in his sing song voice "Come out! Come out and Play!!!"
Suddenly Snape runs in. "Expelliarmus!" He says disarming Sirius. "Vengeance is sweet!" He sneers. "I hoped I would be the one to catch you."
"Severus." Says Remus who is quickly silenced "I told Dumbledore you and Edith were helping an old friend into the castle, and now here the proof!" He says pointing his wand at the two.
"Brilliant Snape!" Sirius teases "Once gain you put your keen and penetrating mind to the task and as usual come to the wrong conclusion." He laughs "Now if you excuse us, Remus and I have some unfinished business to attend to."
Snape moves harshly putting his wand up to Sirius's neck "Give me a reason, I beg you!" He sneers.
"Severus don't be a fool." Remus interrupts.
"He can't help but attack me right now." Sirius laughs.
"Sirius be quite!" Remus tries but Sirius retaliates.
"Be quiet yourself Remus!"
"Oh look at you two quarreling like an old married couple." Snape says snarkley.
"Why don't you run along and play with your chemistry set?" Sirius teases further causing Snape to jab his wand deeper into Sirius's neck.
"I could do it you know!" Snape threatens "But why deny the dementors they are so longing to see you. Do I detect a flicker of fear. Oooh yes the dementors kiss. One can only imagine what that would be like to endure. It said to be nearly impossible to witness but I will do my best." He says letting sparks hit Sirius's neck.
"Severus Please!" Remus begs.
"After you!" He says directing to the door and signaling for Potter to leave as well.
But what he failed to notice was Edith who had shifted back into human form creeping up behind his wand pointed directly at him.
"Stay away from my husband you slimy git!" She spits "Expelliarmus!" And he flies back into the bed with a smash.
"Blue" He smiles his whole face looking younger Edith is the first to notice the ring still on his finger. The one she gave him.
"Are you real? Is it really you?" Edith asks breaths hitched in her throat.
"I am real, love. I promise." He smiles. Edith is the first to move cradling his face in her hand and Sirius instantly wraps his hands around her waist like they used to do everyday twelve years ago. Their lips meets, fireworks filling the pairs stomach.
"God I have missed you love" Sirius says his forehead on hers.
