It had been five days since potions class but neither Sirius or Edith had made nay kind of effort to meet up to work out what the hell they were going to do. Quidditch trails were coming up so the two boy marauders and the girl were busy worrying about that, as well as the next upcoming full moon.
If they had time they probably would have worked out what they were going to do. But right now it looks like they will make it up on the spot.
They are in potions again. The five marauders hardly listening to Slughorns droning voice as he talks about his past students and how amazing they were. Suddenly Remus nudges the five and points to the middle of the table where the one plain piece of parchment was sitting.
Remus signals to tap it with their wands so they all point their wands at it looking at each other and then at Remus who gives a curt nod.
"I solemnly swear that I are up to no good" They all whisper tapping the map in the center.
It reads 'Messers Moony, Blue, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are proud to present the marauders map'
"It's ready." Remus says smiling at the rest of them
"It's ready!" Peter exclaims happily.
"Yeah, want to try it out right now?" James says moving closer for a better look at it.
They all look from one another smiling like idiots who just found out how to rule the world, well technically they kind of did.
"We run out of this class in, five, four, three, two, one!" Sirius says to all of them. They pick up their bags and run out of the potions classroom with Slughorn calling out. "Potter! Wheeler! Pettigrew! Lupin! Black come back!" Causing all of the marauders to run faster.
When they are far enough away they all just stand there looking proudly at each other before breaking out laughing.
"Hide and seek, to check it works perfectly?" Edith asks smiling at her friends funny antics.
"Okay, I will seek. Go! Go! Go!" Sirius shouts at his four friends in the empty corridor causing them all to run off in separate directions. Edith sees Peter and Remus head into the library so she follows them hiding under one of the desks and putting a chair in front of herself so no one can see her properly.
She watches as Sirius enters the library looking at the map and back up at the room. "I know you are all in here!" He shouts causing them to burst out laughing. Peter pops his head up like a meerkat and Remus comes out from behind a chair saying a quick "Hello".
Causing the girl marauder and James coming out of their hiding spaces laughing like mad people.
Suddenly McGonigal walks in looking disappointed but not surprised to find 'the marauders' skipping class.
"Enjoying yourselves are we?" She asks all five of them.
"We didn't see you there." James says putting a hand in his hair pulling it backwards. As Sirius mutters a quick 'Mischief managed'
Minnie sighs loudly "Of course you didn't, you five no more skipping return to class immediately and five points from Gryffindor each!" She instructs loudly walking out of the library. But as soon as he is gone the group burst out laughing again.

The rest of the week flies by and before Edith knows it is the weekend. Meaning that today she had Quidditch tryouts and tomorrow she has to shift. The morning has a late start as all the boys slowly wake up.
James is overall happy as he loves Quidditch "Wake up Marauders! Its tryouts day!" He shouts causing the rest of them to groan loudly.
After a couple more hours of chilling in the room and organizing future pranks it is time to go down to the grounds. Edith a quickly changes into her quidditch clothes first.

"Wow, looking good Blue!" Sirius gushes when Edith walks into the common room. "Shut up, Paddy!" Edith say blushing slightly.
The marauders look at me slight amused. "Paddy, that is all you could think of?" James says chuckling.
"Shut you mouth Potter!" The ginger girl says savagely.
"Come on, we have some quidditch to play!" Sirius says linking Edith and James' arms in his leading them down to the pitch.
As soon as the three Gryffindors get outside the castle they fly in a triangle formation straight down to the grounds, like they practiced. James lands first firmly on the ground smirking at the Gryffindors happy that he caught there attention. Sirius lands next grabbing his broom out of the sky easily leaning on it like it is a door post. Edith is last to land with grace landing firmly on her feet placing a hand on her hip and holding the broom with the other.

"Right!" James says rubbing his hands together and smirking easily and confidently "Now remember just because you made the team last year, does not guaranty you a spot this year. Do I make myself clear?" He asks the group of Gryffindors who nod heir heads. "Good, now to the air!" James announces.
They start a match between the Gryffindors a keeper at each post. Marlene is a good chaser diving through the air and scoring many shots against a scared second year. Arthur makes a good Keeper saving every shot. Edith and Sirius are obviously both chosen as Beaters with James as their seeker. They find two others called Pietro and Wanda as their other Chasers. Just like that they have a team and you have never seen James so happy.
