August 19th - Prompt: You could never hurt me
------------
Peter froze as Edmund took a sip of the wine, all the colour draining from his face as his brother slowly lowered the cup, smiling at Sir. Aiden as he did so. "We can send you home with some wine if you wish," He said, so happily. "I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem."
Sir. Aiden nodded. "I'm sure my men would like that very much." He said with a small smile. "Thank you."
Edmund smiled again. "I should-" But he froze half way through his sentence, his mouth slamming shut as he swallowed hard.
Sir. Aiden frowned a little. "Is everything okay?" He asked slowly.
Edmund seemed to choke a little, the cup slipping from his fingers and hitting the floor with a dull thud, bright red wine staining the fluffy white carpet below. His arm wrapped around his stomach, and before either of the two in the room could even blink, his eyes had slipped shut and he fell to the ground with a crash, his head colliding with the floor.
"Edmund!" Peter screamed, dashing over. He forgot all about Sir. Aiden as he fell to his knees beside his brother. "Ed, Ed can you hear me?" He choked, gripping Edmund's shoulders. "Come on, wake up, don't do this, you - you idiot."
Taking a deep breath and then swallowing hard, Peter looked up at the door. "Someone help!" He screamed, his voice cracking.
No longer than fifteen seconds later, Orious and a few guards burst into the room, and when the centaur saw Peter and Edmund on the floor, his eyes went wide. He was frozen for a moment, before he glanced at the split wine to make it more believable, and then up at Sir. Aiden. "Seize him!" He growled, thinking fast.
Sir. Aiden seemed taken aback, especially when he was grabbed by the two guards. "What on earth is going on!" He growled.
"Sir, Aiden." Orious began. "You are under arrest for the suspected poisoning of King Edmund the Just, you will be held in our dungeons until you stand trial."
The guards led Sir. Aiden, arguing and shouting from the room, and it was only when they were gone did Orious hurry over to his two Kings.
"What - What have I done!" Peter cried, still gripping Edmund's shoulders as tears streamed down his cheeks.
Orious sighed. "Get him to the healers ward." He said firmly. "I'll retrieve the cure."
"He - He'll have time?" Peter choked, sounding hopeful.
Orious hesitated. "We shall see." He murmured, before quickly leaving the room, Peter following quickly behind with Edmund in his arms.

"Hurry," Peter choked when Orious rushed into the room. "It has to of been nearly five minutes."
"Make him drink this." Orious said firmly, handing Peter a small vial and purple liquid. "All of it."
Peter turned to his brother who was laying on the bed, opening his mouth and tipping the vial so the contents landed on Edmund's tongue, before closing his mouth and all but begging him to swallow it.
He watched for a moment, before he saw his brother swallow, and relief washed over him so quickly it left him dizzy, and he found himself having to force back tears as he stared at his little brother.
"The cure will take a while to rid him completely of the poison." Orious stepped in. "He won't be waking for a few hours yet, and when he does he'll be weak."
