Just outside the exit of the Sky Gondola, Kenji and Sammy were goofing around. They stood over at the edge of the railing, giggling together, not doing what they came there to do, which didn't go unnoticed by Yasmina.
Yasmina hummed with a look pointed at the two as she crossed her arms. She spoke with sarcasm, "Sure, we'll get the hang gliders. You two keep looking at things."
"Sounds good!" Kenji gave her a carefree thumbs up.
Violet gave him a thumbs up back as she stood beside Yasmina and Brooklynn. She took a step forward and turned around to face the two girls, "We could all use the break. Anyways, I'm going to–" She pointed behind her at Sammy and Kenji.
"You guys got it." Violet shined a smile at the two girls, giving them both a thumbs up as she went to join Kenji and Sammy.
With a heavy sigh, Yasmina watched her walk away, "You weren't supposed to..."
Yasmina had a hand out towards Violet in a closed fist, not able to grab her arm in time. She really didn't want to be left alone with Brooklynn.
Sammy looked through the telescope with a smile, "Oh, wow, I can see everything–trees, trees, more trees, jungle, beach..." She gasped and lifted her face away from the scope. "Guys, look at this, quick!"
"Is it Bullet?" Violet quickly guessed while hurrying forward to Sammy. "Do you think you can find his girlfriend? Do they have a family already?"
Sammy's jaw dropped, and she slowly moved her head away from the telescope to look at Violet. "Uh, is that what happened when you two separated?"
Kenji went to look through the telescope, and he was actually surprised at what he saw, "It's not Bullet, but Violet, you have to check this out."
Violet went next to look through the telescope, and a smile appeared on her face, which quickly turned confused from hearing Yasmina and Brooklynn screaming in the background.
When Violet turned around to the commotion, her heart dropped to the floor as she froze. The side of a pteranodon appeared right in front of her face. She felt her body lift up just an inch in the process of trying to duck while moving backward, but her back hit the railing behind her. It had flown just above past her head, nearly grabbing a hold onto her shoulder but missed as it only bumped her shoulder.
Another pteranodon was walking up to them, but Violet couldn't walk backward or move. Her legs froze, but her hands raised up in front of her. She didn't want to take her eyes off of it, but she also had to look at her surroundings.
