"This will be a piece of cake–"
━━━━━━━★━━━━━━━
The compy that nearly scared Violet Myers to death had run straight into the Jurassic Park building, which was part of what forced Violet and Kenji to go into the dark creepy building that they did not want to go into. Most of it was because of Yasmina and Darius forced them to go. The youngest of the bunch, Darius, thought that the other compys were probably in there, which is where the compass should be.
Yasmina and Darius were the first ones to enter the building, opening the door. While Violet stood beside Kenji. The two of them took their time to walk in. The two old friends glanced at each other, shaking their heads in doubt. As they all fully walked in, each of them jumped at the sound of the door closing behind them.
"I'm telling you." While speaking in a loud whisper, Violet pointed at the door behind her, "Haunted. Terrible things happen here."
Yasmina glanced at her with a look, "The sooner we get the compass, the sooner we get out of here."
"I don't like this," Kenji spoke in a low voice, taking a step back. "I don't like this."
"Okay...so far, it's actually not that bad." Violet faced forward, examining the place.
There was green all over. It wasn't dead grass and moss. Lots of rust. Bones. The walls had images of dinosaurs. She was expecting darkness and spider webs to be all over the place.
Violet's eyes widened as a spider appeared in front of her, where a web was. She quickly whispered, "I take that back. I take that back. I hate this place."
Violet quickly leaned back away from the web and tried to walk around it, careful not to touch anything.
Sounds of loud clattering were heard above them, then something fell from the top.
Kenji loudly gasped with his hand up.
Violet looked upwards where the sun shined in. That was when she saw many other tiny compies. A smile formed on her face at seeing just them. "I found them."
Her eyes then spotted the nest that was made where the compy dropped off the screw and the compass.
"Look!" Darius pointed at it. He looked determined, "We gotta get up there."
"Well, the good news is it's only, like, thirty feet in the air." Yasmina looked away from the nest and to Darius.
Violet squinted her eyes up there with a nod, trying to see how exactly she'd climb up there. "Got it. This will be a piece of cake."
"Yeah. Easy." Yasmina turned to Violet, the two nodding to each other in sync. "Keep up."
Violet looked away from the nest and to Yasmina, "Talking to me or them?"
