the twin looked for the puppy for the entire afternoon, still haven't found him. by the time they got back, it was already dark
" i- i can't believe you lost him, on the very f- first day... " lumine wiping tears from her face
" m-me? you mean us, right? " aether argued back, but his voice is shaky and unsteady
lumine sobbed and rush upstair
" is ok aeth " the twin's dad tries to say something comforting " im sure he's alright, we will go look for him first thing in the morning, im sure we will find him "
" stop it dad, stop acting like im five years old, you are not sure of anything, so stop pretending you are! "
" aeth, that's no way to talk to your father " the twin's mother said sternly
" aeth, im sure is not that bad, is just a dog, we can always buy another- " aether's dad tries again
" no! you don't understand! we can't just buy another! it won't be the same one " aether shouted " plus, the dog is my responsiblity and i screwed up! just like i screwed up everything else. "
aether rushed upstair, slammed his door shut. he layed on his bed, feeling frustrated. how is he soppuse to tell gorou that he had lost the dog? is the dog ok right now? what if he's injuried, or kidnapped, or dead.. aether shooked his head, preventing himself from thinking about bad thoughts.
a notification popped up and aether opened it
gorou: heyy! did something happened? the puppy i gaved to you yesterday just came back to my house
aether: really? omg thank god
gorou: is everything alright?
aether: bro im so sorry. i thought i lost him! thank god he's at your place
gorou: yea, puppies can be very jumpy sometime, they need to go through proper training
gorou: anyways, is getting quite late right now, i'll take the puppy to your house tommorow morning
aether: okk, and thank you so much!
" lumine lumine! the puppy is at gorou's house! " aether shouted to lumine's room
" really? thank god " lumine sniffled " but don't talk to me, im still mad at you! "
