My name is Kusuo Saiki, and I was born with psychic powers. Even though I have the ability to repeatedly reverse time to prevent the catastrophic eruption of a volcano, I still can't prevent my friends from acting like morons. Whenever they make a mess, I'm the one who cleans it up -- except this time, I end up incapacitated for a while, and they clean up the mess. Well, probably. Maybe. Hopefully. Oh who am I kidding?... It's much more likely that they did nothing to help at all.... Good grief. I'm annoyed already, and the story hasn't even started yet. Let's see what happens...

SAIKI
[Ah... The end of the school day. Time for some coffee jelly].

KAIDOU
(walking up to SAIKI, outside of PK Academy)
Hey, Saiki!... (trips and stumbles toward SAIKI)

SAIKI
[Just when I thought I'd have a peaceful afternoon, here comes Kaidou, right on cue].

KAIDOU
(still stumbling and regaining his balance)
Wow! I almost toppled over! But thankfully I didn't!... (grabbing his arm as Judgment Knights of Thunder plays in the background)... My stunning powers stopped me from falling. There was probably a secret trapdoor in the sidewalk... left there by DARK REUNION!

SAIKI
[Always DARK REUNION with this one. Is it ever not about DARK REUNION?....]

KAIDOU
(still grabbing his arm)
But I have to be careful!... I can't use BLACK BEAT around these innocent bystanders...

SAIKI
[You can't use BLACK BEAT. Period. At least not without me].

TORITSUKA
(running toward SAIKI and KAIDOU with a hand raised)
Master! Saiki-San!... Oh no!... Hey, Kaidou, watch out!... (suddenly pushing KAIDOU out of the way and pointing upward at a nearby building)... There's a pile of bricks teetering on that ledge, and they're about to topple over!

KAIDOU
(annoyed as TORITSUKA pushes him)
What the?!... The PURPLE SPIRIT?.. How dare you lay hands on your ally!... The JET BLACK WINGS deserves respect!

SAIKI
[What a pain. If it's not Idiot #1, it's Idiot #2. I'm surprised Nendou isn't here....]

NENDOU
(suddenly appearing out of nowhere)
Heyyyyy, buddy! I heard about some bricks that were toppling off of a building!... Did I miss it?... Where are they?... (looks up at the building)...

TORITSUKA
(pushing NENDOU)
Watch out!... 

NENDOU
(surprised)
Hey, what gives?!... Why's the purple-haired guy pushing everybody?!...

TORITSUKA
(pointing at the ground)
That's the spot where they're going to -- (suddenly, a few dozen bricks hit the ground where KAIDOU and NENDOU had been standing)

KAIDOU
(staring at the bricks with his mouth wide open)
I knew it!... This must be the work of DARK REUNION!.... just like when I tripped a minute ago!...

SAIKI
[It was the work of gravity both times, but I don't feel like arguing].

NENDOU
(laughing and slapping KAIDOU on the back, causing KAIDOU to nearly fall forwards)
Hey, shrimp!... sorry!... You almost toppled over like those bricks... And they were toppling, and then they toppled over!... It's like the same thing.... both toppling!...

SAIKI
[I really wish everybody would stop saying that word].

TORITSUKA
(beaming with pride, pointing his own thumb at his chest)
I let the spirit of a really cute psychic girl from the 60s enter my body for the next few hours!... (rubbing his bands together) I think she's a hippie!... I've always wanted to be possessed by a cute hippie!.... She told me about the bricks!
