After her confession, Niamh and Leah had spent the entire weekend with one another; watching films, cooking together, taking Bella for walks and simply enjoying each other's company. Niamh, nor Leah, had never felt happier within somebody else's presence and, soon enough, became so comfortable with each other, unlike anyone else they had ever got to know on a romantic level. They were a new experience for one another, to allow themselves to fall for somebody without any doubts nor worries and to find the true love they'd both wanted so desperately.

The pair craved for that loving feeling that everyone speaks so highly of and one that they've witnessed capture their parents beneath its spell. They'd grown up with such an in-love mother and father, that it influenced them to be so naive toward the idea of falling in love. Of course, they weren't stupid, but they'd never been in love just because of the false reality they'd created in their heads. One in which didn't exist. After all, love is hard. And, if it was easy, it wouldn't mean anything.

Niamh always thought Matthew was her first love and, he was. However, as he changed, Niamh realised she fell in love with somebody who ceased to exist. She fell in love with a monster in disguise who, in the end, made Niamh scared of the love she was so, once, infatuated by. She feared what it would do to herself and those around her if she let herself be deceived by such a monster again. Yet, Leah was something so different to Niamh that she opened her eyes and ignited that spark that, once, burned so bright within Niamh.

Leah rarely got involved in relationships growing up, purely due to her growing passion for football and her dedication overrode anything else within her teenage years, so, she felt she'd missed out on opportunities to have that special "young love". However, she wouldn't change her choices for the world, she loved what she did and was eternally grateful for everything she had been blessed with. Yet, within her years at Arsenal, she had found someone special within Jordan and shared some amazing times with her but, they weren't right for one another at that given time and broke things off a few months ago. Leah always told herself that if they are the right person, then they'll always come back.

After a lazy morning waking up late, watching television and cooking breakfast, Niamh and Leah decided to go out and do something productive with their day. Of course, for the pair, this meant going shopping; a hobby they both adored with everything in them. Leah was heavily into her fashion, just like Niamh was, and the two bonded over their shared love for the industry and figured a shopping outing could influence their relationship for the better.

The blonde and brunette were sat in Leah's car on their way toward "The Centre" near Newport Pagnell on Leah's recommendation. They sat comfortably, Leah with one hand on the wheel and the others rested near the gear stick. Niamh leant on the window, resting on her hand and gazing out of the glass in front of her. Before she knew it, Leah's hand was placed on her thigh and caused her head to jolt from its rested position to turn and look at Leah who just looked at the road with a smirk on her face.

Niamh scoffed playfully and shook her head whilst staring at Leah, "You know what you're doing." She said as she turned her head to look at the road too.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Leah replied, her smirk still plastered on her face as she threw her hands in the air innocently.

"Dick." Niamh muttered, turning her head toward the window again, shaking her head playfully. She soon realised that they were nearing the shopping centre and pulled down the mirror above her head and started ruffling her hair and attempting to sort her bare eyelashes out. Leah had pretty much dragged Niamh out, so her hair was a mess and she had no makeup on whatsoever.
