Echoes of music circulated the room, as Lionesses were dotted about sparsely, laughing, smiling, talking but overall having good times with one another. Niamh was stood with Beth and Jill, deep in conversation as Rachel and Mille wondered over.
"...It's crazy, I feel like I've known her forever, you know?" Niamh finished, as the two nodded their heads as she spoke.
"I feel like we know you just as much with how much she talks about you, crikey." Beth said, receiving a laugh from Niamh.
"We're not even taking the piss either, I've never heard someone bring their conversations back to someone else so much." Jill laughed.
"Tweedle-dum and tweedle-dee incoming." Beth joked as she spied Rachel and Millie.
"Good evening wonderful ladies, how are we all?" Rachel asked, cheerfully.
"You're in a good mood, Rach." Beth said, eyeing her up and down questionably.
"What can I say, life's good." Rachel laughed.
Just before anyone could speak, Millie opened her mouth, "I don't think we've met, have we?" Niamh shook her head, "Well, I'm Millie and, this is Rachel."
"I'm Niamh, it's nice to finally meet you. I see so much of you two on Instagram. You two are hilarious." Niamh spoke, as Beth cocked her eyes toward Niamh and back to Millie and Rachel, speaking with them."
Rachel and Millie's eyes went wide as they realised who Niamh was, "Shit! You're Leah's girlfriend, right?"
Niamh nodded shyly in response.
"You know, I thought I recognised you but didn't want to ask in case you weren't." Rachel said.
"You're gorgeous, by the way! I see you all the time on Leah's insta, haha!" Millie laughed, causing Niamh to blush.
"Awe, thank you! That's lovely."
Just as someone could respond, Leah placed her arm on Niamh's waist and stroked her thumb gently down it, causing Niamh to startle at the sudden contact.
Her breath hitched in her throat as she turned around to see Leah, "Jesus! You scared me you dick." Niamh breathed out, as Leah laughed.
"Hello to you too." Leah chuckled slightly, as the other girls laughed.
"Niamh works in a coffee shop, you know Jill." Leah said, randomly causing Niamh to knit her eyebrows together in a chuckle.
"The best people do, what can we say?" Jill replied, creating laughter amongst the group, "Do you enjoy it?"
"Somedays are better than others, you know? We try keep staffing to a minimum so on busy days it is busy." Niamh replied, emphasising the word.
"I get what you mean, there's on and off days isn't there?" Jill replied, enjoying the pair's conversation.
Just as Niamh was to reply, Leah grabbed her wrist gently and checked her phone to see the time.
"Niamh, it's getting late I think I'm gonna go." Leah spoke, trying to make herself heard over the music.
Niamh furrowed her brows and jolted her head back in confusion, "It's only 9? Are you sure?"
