Over the last two months, Niamh and Leah had never been better. They'd spent every waking moment possible with one another, some with family and some without, yet whatever it was, they'd be doing it together. Niamh could always be found at Leah's games, and Leah made regular appearances at Niamh's work, surprising her as she did so. As shocking as it was, Niamh fell more and more in love with Leah everyday, just as she did. Waking up by one another's sides, cradled in arms was enough to make the two of them melt at their touch.

flashback

Niamh lay wrapped in Leah's arms, her hair sprawled out on her bedsheets as she felt Leah's fingertips trace shapes up and down her arm. Niamh lay contentedly, feeling Leah's touch all over her body, sending shivers up her arm. Feeling her presence was all she needed to feel at home. Niamh could feel Leah's smile radiating off of her, as she turned over to see the very one she had pictured in her mind.

"Hi." Niamh whispered, gazing up at Leah who lay with her tired eyes half-open.

"Hello." Leah whispered back in her gravelly morning voice, smiling at Niamh softly.

"How do you look so good in the mornings?" Niamh asked, propping her head up to face Leah whos arm remained on her waist.

"Shut up." Leah whispered before moving in closer to press her lips on Niamh's delicately.

She inhaled as their mouths moved together in harmony, before pulling away to rest her head on her pillow once more. Leah's hand found Niamh's hair as she tucked a stray piece behind her ear before continuing to stroke the area. As the two simply looked into one another's eyes, they remained silent, taking in the raw moment they were in.

"I love you." Leah spoke, still running a hand through Niamh's hair.

"I love you more." Niamh replied, before shutting her eyes and nestling into Leah's chest once more.

Of course, they had their fair share of arguments, just as any relationship did. None of which ever ended as harshly as their previous, but rather silly little fights that actually meant nothing to either of them. Well, apart from one that Niamh still held to her heart.

flashback

"Why do you always bring everything back to her?" Leah shouted, exasperated at Niamh in front of her.

"Because it's all over social media! Everyone loves you two and still fucking believe you two are together despite us! It's like I'm invisible!" Niamh shouted back, raising her arms in annoyance.

"You know full well you aren't invisible, Niamh and so be it? Let whoever-they-are think me and Jordan are still together! Who gives two fucks what they think?" Leah said, lowering her tone yet still angry.

"I care, Leah! It's really difficult to have your FIANCÉE playing close football with her ex! Why can't you just get that?" Niamh said, feeling her eyes pool.

"For fucks sake, Niamh! How many times do I have to tell you that we're done? We've been done for nearly two years now, so what the fuck are you stressing about?" Leah scoffed.
