Niamh hardly slept that night. She knew that if she tried to, she'd only get annoyed with herself and her body, so she didn't even try. Instead, she took it upon herself to give her a rest; to ease her mind, and with that came a long walk with her camera glued to her hand.

Ever since she can remember, Niamh was fascinated with photography and had her first 'real' camera for her 7th birthday, which she'd never put down since. The saddest day of Niamh's life was when her first camera broke, but this only made her love grow even more. So, camera after camera, she developed a rather ambitious passion for the hobby that was, photography.

Everywhere she went, she often took her camera with her. Sometimes her polaroid, sometimes her 'proper' camera; either way, she documented nearly everything she did on her cameras. Football games, walks, birthdays, Christmas', Easter's, everything. People, almost, counted on Niamh to capture memories whenever she was around, and she loved that.

The first rays of sunlight bounced from Niamh's dark coat that hugged her frame tightly, wrapping in the warmth she had created within herself on such a cold morning. As the day dawned crisp and clear, Niamh's feet carried her weight and stepped down onto the wet ground below her. Golden fingers of sunlight danced through the sky and began to poke through the dewy trees that stood gently beside the path Niamh was on. She stopped for a moment and inhaled the scent of the fresh morning air which she let fill her lungs. She moved her camera to position it in a place where she could capture, what she felt to be, the most perfect March morning she'd seen in a while.

There was always something so calming to Niamh, about taking pictures

There was always something so calming to Niamh, about taking pictures. They eased her mind like nothing else could, took the weight from her shoulders like nothing else could, and gave her peace and clarity like nothing else could. All she wished for now, was for her soulmate back.

leah's pov:

They often say that hangovers come close to one of the worst feelings ever. Of course, you don't believe it until you experience it. I was an avid believer that hangovers can't be that bad, but, fuck was I wrong. How the smell of vodka last night was intoxicating, this morning it only adds to the nausea and headache I feel within the pit of my stomach. I wrapped myself even tighter under my duvet, in an attempt to rid myself of this feeling of disgust that crowds my body as of right now. I tried to raise my eyelids, yet they were too heavy and fell back shut nearly immediately. Sleep was often the answer to most things, but definitely not a hangover; the idea of sleep only made me want to vomit even more than I already did.

This feeling swarmed my entire body for, what felt like, days all until I heard the ping of a message circulating on my phone. I lifted the screen and rested it on my chest to be met with the displayed message that sprawled on my screen:
