Chapter 9

Jane's POV.

"Why don't you just admit you like me?" She smirked.

"I won't admit anything." Pagmamatigas na sabi ko sakanya. Aba'y makulit din tong President namin eh.

I suddenly smile when I thought something.
"Well, bakit hindi nalang ikaw yung umamin na gusto mo ako?"

The smirked that was flastered on her face disappear in an instant when I said that.

Ah! Got you!

"Wag kang feeling. Let's get going." Sabi nya habang pinagbubuksan na sya ng pinto ng kotse ni Manong Rex na nakangiti lang.

Tumawa naman ako at tsaka sumunod sakanya, bago pa ako makasakay ng kotse ay may narinig akong sabi ni Manong Rex.

"Minsan talaga nagiging hangin ako kapag magkasama tong dalawa na to." Mahinang sabi nya sakanyang sarili na napangiti naman ako.

Manong Rex drove away as we settled inside the car, Ate Glaiza and Ate Rhian was waiting for us according to Manong Rex. And nakita ko na traffic nga, siguro mga ilang oras o minuto pa bago kami makarating doon sakanila Ate Glaiza, medyo malayo din kasi yung bahay nila.

I glanced at Janella and somehow she looks happy.

I smiled while looking at her.

I wonder what happened this morning? But I don't really want to know, as long as she's okay and happy like this, that's all that matters.

Janella looks brave and independent outside but I am sure she is just a fragile girl who will easily get broken by just simple words. I'm sure she's hiding the real her behind her facade that she's been putting on since the very first day I met her.

(1st Year College.)

"Oy nakita mo na ba yung president natin?" Tanong ni Joshua samin ni Mac.

I shook my head as I look at Mac, however he nodded. "Yeah. I knew her." Mahinang sabi nya.

Napataas naman ang isa kong kilay sa sinabi nya. "You knew her?" Pagtatakang tanong ko sakanya, kahit si Joshua ay naghihintay ng sagot nya.

I don't remember him telling us about this president. And now he says he knew her.

Napatingin naman samin si Mac at nagsmile na nahalata kong pilit lang. "I mean, everybody knew her. Ewan ko nalang sayo Jane, plus you're not even paying attention to those student councils." Me and Joshua nodded.

Well, he is right naman. Ni-hindi ko nga matandaan sino yung binoto ko nun. I just voted random names which is hindi ikinatuwa ni Mac noon, sabi nya kasi we should choose wisely when it comes to choosing who will sit in those positions, dahil nakasalalay daw yung reputation and also pagpapatakbo ng University namin.

Mac is always serious when it comes to that. Gusto nya kapag bumoto sya yung maayos talaga, because he said we will be the ones who will suffer.

Nakita nyo na? Mac can be serious sometimes. He's not just some goofy guy that I knew when we were kids.

Mac and I literally grew up together. So I trust him the most.

Mga ilang minuto pa ay bumalik na kami sa kanya-kanya namin room dahil tumunog na yung bell, sadly, hindi kami mag-classmate tatlo.

I was about to enter our room when the door suddenly slammed at me. Nakita ko naman na dalawang lalaki ang gumawa nun. I glared at them and forced the door open. Nabuksan ko din naman yung pinto and I swear I almost punch this two idiots, but I held myself back.

"Anong problema nyo?" Inis na tanong ko dito.

They just smirked at me and looked at each other. "Chill out, triny lang naman namin. I'm Markus by the way, nice to meet you."
