Janella's POV.

"Over here!"

I turned my gaze and saw Julia. I smiled as I walked towards their table.

Yes, she wasn't alone.

She's with Mac, Gabbi and Joshua.

Pagka-lapit ko sa table nila agad naman akong niyakap ni Julia at Gabbi. Habang sila Joshua at Mac ay malaki ang pinakita na ngiti sakin. Umupo na ako, nasa pagitan ako ngayon ni Julia at Gabbi, nasa harapan naman namin si Mac at Joshua.

"So, kamusta ang buhay sa Switzerland?" Tanong agad ni Joshua pagka-upo ko.

I chuckled as I shook my head. "Joshua, you've been asking me that since the last 3 years." Nagtawanan naman kami habang naka-simangot si Joshua.

I stayed in Switzerland for 4 years. Doon na din ako nagpatuloy ng pag aaral ko hanggang sa maka-graduate ako. Nung una ang plano lang talaga ay manirahan kami doon ng apat na buwan, but Mom can't just leave her business there and I don't want her to be alone, so we just decided to stay there.

The first year, I didn't contact them. I only contacted Julia, but then I realized that they were still my friends and Gabbi was basically threatening my life, she said that she would hire an assassin if I continue to ignore them.

We've been in contact for the last 3 years and everytime that I would call them, Joshua would always ask me how's my life in Switzerland.

"Nakapag-order na kami, kaso ang tagal." Reklamo ni Julia. Hindi pa din to nagbabago kahit kaka-order nya lang 2 minutes ago, sasabihin nyang napaka-tagal ng servings dito.

"Hon, wala talagang pasensya na nanalaytay sa dugo mo noh?" Pang aasar sakanya ni Joshua, agad naman syang sinipa ni Julia sa ilalim ng table. I chuckled as I watched them bicker.

When I was in Switzerland, I found out that Joshua confessed to Julia and at first this girl was confused, she doesn't know what to do. She has feelings for Joshua, it was obvious, but then again she was dumb when it comes to realizing those feelings. It took them 5 months to became official and right now they were in a relationship for 2 years and I am genuinely happy for them.

"Why didn't you invite Khalil?" Mac asked Gabbi as the latter shrugged. "I don't want Janella to be uncomfortable, besides she haven't met Khalil, and." She turned her gaze on Mac and Joshua. "You two would only make fun and threatened him, always." She rolled her eyes as the two laughed at her.

When I was in Switzerland, I heard that Gabbi has been dating a guy named Khalil, I haven't met him but I was able to saw his face on internet and Gabbi has been talking about him non-stop, she looks happy.

While Mac? He's enjoying his single life.

Dumating na yung pagkain namin at nag umpisa na kami kumain habang nag kwe-kwentuhan, ang dami nilang tanong pero yung iba halos si Julia yung sumasagot, wala pa din nagbago sakanila. Madaldal at maingay pa din sila which I am grateful.

"Dad come on, I'm full." I turned my gaze on my left and saw a little girl holding her Father's hand as he genuinely smiled at her.

I bitterly smiled.

I haven't heard anything about Dad, even about my Grandfather. Pero na-realize ko na okay na din yon, okay na kami ni Mom na kami nalang dalawa sa buhay, hindi na nya kailangan bumalik samin para sirain nanaman yung buhay namin. I don't know if they already realized what they've lost, but I don't want to know either, we have our own lives now.

We finished our food and we are talking about something when Joshua's phone rang. He answered it without looking at the caller id. "Yes? Who's this?" I didn't hear anything but I saw how his face changed. "Ah, sorry I forgot about that. Please forgive me just this once Jane."
