Chapter 25

Jane's POV.

It's been 2 days and Janella hasn't come to our University. She was absent for the last 2 days which is very alarming for me.

Alam kong hindi hahayan ni Janella na magkaroon sya ng absent, perfect attendance yon simula 1st Year College kami. Wala din sa vocabulary nya na mahuli sa mga lessons at activities na itinuturo at pinapagawa ng mga Professors namin.

Mas lalo pa akong nag alala nung hindi ko sya ma-contact. Ang huling pag uusap namin sa cellphone sabi nya magkasama daw sila ni Julia, she said she's currently staying with Julia's house because something came up.

She sounded different at that time.
She has a sad tone.

I'm worried, Jea.

"Nami-miss ko na si Julia." Tumingin naman ako kay Joshua na kanina pa naka-nguso sa tabi ko. Absent din kasi si Julia, She's probably with Janella.

"In love ka talaga doon sa babae na yon?" Tanong sakanya ni Gabbi. "That girl has a name! She's Julia." Iritang sabi ni Joshua but Gabbi just shrugged as she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever. You didn't answer my question."

Joshua nodded. "Yeah, I like her." Natawa naman si Gabbi sa sinabi ni Joshua. "Gusto ka ba nya?" Pang aasar na tanong ni Gabbi sakanya.

Oh diba. Ngayon na dumating na si Gabbi may katapat na si Joshua pagdating sa pang aasar at kalokohan. Ngayon sya na yung ginigisa, oh medyo deserve.

Joshua stood up as he glared at Gabbi. "I'll kill you." Bago pa nya mahawakan si Gabbi ay nakatakbo na yon ng mabilis habang hawak yung bag nya na kaagad naman sinundan ni Joshua.

The people inside the cafeteria was looking at them but some people just ignored them. Siguro naisip nila na ngayon hindi nalang tatlo yung mang-gugulo sa katahimikan ng school namin kung hindi apat na, kasama si Gabbi.

"You still haven't heard from her?" I turned my gaze on Mac as I shook my head. "Wala pa din." I sighed.

"It'll be fine. I'm sure she would call you later." Mac smiled at me as I did the same.

Tinignan ko yung cellphone ko pero wala akong nakita na bagong message. I was really hoping that she would at least text me and tell me if she was alright because I'm really worried right now.

Inayos ko na yung gamit ko at nagpaalam kay Mac na babalik na ako sa classroom namin, since alam kong hindi pa titigil sila Joshua at Gabbi sa ginagawa nila.

Naglalakad ako sa hallway nung makita ko si Elmo, he's talking with someone. It was a middle aged man. I frowned when I recognize the man he was talking to.

It was Janella's father.

Why is he here?

And more importantly, why is he talking to Elmo?

Nakita ko naman na tapos na sila mag usap at umalis na si Elmo. Nakita ako nung Dad ni Janella at lumapit sya sakin. I was actually nervous right now. I don't know why he's approaching me. Or does he even know who I am?

He stop infront of me as he stared at me before speaking. "You must be Jane De Leon." I nodded. "Yes po. I'm Jane De Leon." I politely smiled at him.

"Alam ko kung anong meron kayo ni Janella. And I don't like it." He walked closer to me. "Do you think you deserve my daughter? She's my only child, did you think that I would easily gave her away?"

He knows.

Alam nya kung anong meron kami ni Janella and clearly hindi nya gusto yon. Alam ko naman na hindi nya matatanggap yon, dahil hanggang ngayon madami pa din ganitong tao.
