Miss Snow left the classroom about fifteen minutes ago, I have just been sitting here a little confused...She left in a hurry, is she sick? Maybe she passed out? Do I get up and check on her?
I go to stand up but she walks into the room, she walks quickly with her head down while she stares down at the floor.
"Are you okay?" I ask her and she hums, rooting through her bag in a hurry. Why is she in such a rush?
"I'm alright. Do your homework or something, I don't care. I have to speak to my lawyers, I'm sure you can stay here by yourself for a few minutes." She mumbles, taking out some papers before she walks back out of the room, slamming the door after her.
Lawyers?
She seems really mad. What did she do? Maybe she didn't do anything, maybe...maybe it's something else..?
She's probably facing charges for assault or something, I'm betting she punched someone...definitely, she has some serious anger issues.
Diana
Miss Snow left me alone for detention, she's speaking with lawyers now??Charlie
HELLO WHAT?Diana
Yeah. She left at the start for like fifteen minutes but came back, she left again but told me she needs to speak with her lawyers. She didn't fail to be rude while saying it.Charlie
Figure out what it is!! I'm noseyThe door opens again and I put my phone away quickly. She keeps her phone between her ear and shoulder as she flips through the papers in her hands. She looks angry now, scoffing and rolling her eyes...
"Marco, get her to sign the fucking papers!" She snaps and I bite the inside of my cheek nervously. This isn't too great, this isn't great at all. I'm guessing that it's not assault charges...
"I don't care, I told her and you a million times that I do not care." She puts the stack of papers down and looks through her bag again. She scoffs and takes her phone from between her shoulder an ear, hanging up on her lawyer, I'm guessing. She slams the phone down on her desk before she looks at me then looks away straight away again. Seems like she forgot I was even here.
"I'm guessing that wasn't a happy call." I say and she lets out a mix of a huff and a laugh. I meant it in a sarcastic way—but a mean way too...I was trying to annoy her with it actually, mostly because of her judgement about me and Melody.
"It was not." She tilts her head and I nod pursing my lips. She sighs, putting her hands on her desk, dropping her head. She seems tired, she seems to be a lot of things. Things I can't figure out honestly.
"Are you okay?" I ask again. Just a little concerned...
"I am alright. Divorce isn't supposed to be rainbows and sunshine, especially not when..." She cuts herself off, picking up the stack of papers on her desk, shoving them into her bag.
"Marriage in the first place is stupid, it's just a piece of paper that makes things more complicated then they have to be." I say and she looks to me as she puts her bag down on the floor.
"I would like to disagree but I just can't." She nods, fixing some things on her desk to organise it a little. I'm guessing detention is nearly over.
I'm wondering now...Was that redhead at her house the other day her soon to be ex wife? Miss Snow seemed really annoyed with her being there, I mean she basically threatened to shoot her.
"Are you speaking from experience when you warn me about Melody?" I ask Miss Snow as she sits down at her desk.
"What?" She looks at me, her eyebrows knotting together in confusion.
"You keep warning me about Melody, that I'm not like her and something bad will happen...Who am I like, am I like you?" I ask her, crossing my arms as I lean onto the table and she sits back, crossing her own arms too.
"Do you want to be like me?"
"No."
"I'll take it as a compliment." She hums and I shake my head, a piece of blonde hair falling from behind my ear so I quickly tuck it back, away from my face.
"You shouldn't."
"Why not? Because I'm a bitch who gives the good girl detention?" She questions, standing up and I shift in my chair, my eyes staying on her.
"Yeah, that's exactly why."
"You think I'm a bitch, do you, Miss Cooper?" She asks me and I shrug.
"If the shoe fits, Miss Snow." I smile a little, feeling mean but she deserves it. She grins, picking up her bag again.
"I should give you more detention for calling me a bitch—"
"I didn't, you did, I just agreed." I smile wider and she stops, looking at me for another moment, her green eyes...they look a little brighter as she smiles at me, her smile is nice, her lips are perfectly shaped too.
"Touché, Darling, touché." She nods her head at me, winking and I sit back, letting out a little breath at the wink...
I look away, looking down at my bag to distract myself from something. From what?
"Detention is over, you're free to go." She speaks, clearing her throat and I stand quickly. I pick up my bag, resting the straps of my bag on each shoulder as I walk towards the door.
"I'll see you tomorrow, Miss Cooper." Miss Snow speaks and I glance back.
"Bye, Miss Snow." I look away, leaving the class, just a little part of me wishing detention lasted a tiny bit longer.

"So, how is school going?" Jane asks as we both sit down on the couch watching a movie with Sadie after I come home from work. I bought some snacks since she did message me about a movie night.
"It's going fine, I actually started to...kind of date but kind of not, someone. Her name is Melody, I'm not sure if I like her but we kissed." I reply and Jane smiles. I pick at some popcorn, smiling.
"Ugh, stop growing up." She huffs and I laugh. She rubs Sadie's head and looks at me for a second before looking away.
"Diana." She adds and I hum, looking at my Aunt, meeting her brown eyes.
"I need to tell you something." She mutters and I look at her, squinting my eyes slightly. The secret she's been hiding?
"Go on..."
"Actually, nevermind, it's just a stupid work thing." She smiles and I notice her smile not being so bright as it usually is, probably because it's not a real smile. I don't push her to talk, I hand her the popcorn and she glances to me again.
