************* The sun rose at its peak, it welcomed another day. Siddharth, who was unconscious/sleeping the whole night stirred a bit as the chirping of birds was heard. Siddharth slowly opened his eyes to see him laying on bed. He took some time to remember but couldn't. He looked at his sides and that's when he saw Avneet, who was sleeping facing him, cutely. He smiled looking at her and turned to her hand but felt a little pain in his arm due to injection. Avneet was still sleeping. Siddharth started admiring her, he tucked her hair which was falling on her face behind her hair which made her stir in her sleep. Avneet opened her eyes slowly to see Siddharth, smiling at her. She woke up with jerk making Siddharth also to sit on bed.
"Are you okay?" Asked Avneet in a panick looking at him.
"Relax, relax I'm fine!" He assured her, holding her hands. She made a mad face hitting on his chest.
"You know how much you scared me? Who the hell does this?" She yelled standing on her knees and started hitting him with pillow.
"Ouch, wild rabbit!" He held the pillow and threw it on couch and saw Avneet still with angry expressions. She sat on bed, crossing her arms across her chest with an angry pout on her face. Siddharth who noticed her, smiled at her ethics and hugged her from behind keeping his head on her shoulder. That's when, Avneet melted and sensed his temperature. She quickly broke the hug placing her hand on his forehead.
"Siddharth, you have fever!" Avneet scoffed worried. Siddharth chuckled.
"It's not serious. I will take rest today and it will be fine." Assured Siddharth. Avneet smiled at him.
"I was also about to ask for it. That's like my good hubby. Now I am going to make breakfast and you should come after freshing up. Alright?" Ordered Avneet raising her eyebrows. Siddharth peck her cheek softly nodding. She blushed leaving the room. He looked at her leaving the room. He closed his eyes for a while leaning back with headboard of the bed when suddenly his phone rang. He looked at it to see Abhishek calling him. He smiled attending the call.
"Hello dada!" Greeted Siddharth but he recieved Abhishek's tense voice.
"Ashu, where are you? I am waiting for a long time looking for you but you are nowhere to be found." Scoffed Abhishek in a bit loud voice. Siddharth slowly slided down keeping his head on the pillow properly.
"Actually, bhai I won't be able to come today." Informed Siddharth in a low voice which Abhishek sensed in fraction of seconds.
"Anything serious?" Asked Abhishek.
"Ya, I-I had that IED attack last night and also have fever so, yeah needed a date or two rest." Informed Siddharth truly.
"You had it yesterday?" Confirmed Abhishek to which Siddharth just hmmed.
"Ashu, this is seriously carelessness. You know very well but then too you don't care about it." Scolded Abhishek. Siddharth was calm and lost.
"I don't know bhai what happened to me yesterday. I was feeling disgusted of everything. It was the worst day of my life." Expressed Siddharth still lost.
"But now you have to move on, Ashu and yeah take care. I and Vaishu will try to visit you guys in a or 2 days." Assured Abhishek.
"Sure!"
"Take care!" Wished Abhishek before cutting the call. Siddharth exhaled sharply getting up from bed. Avneet and Siddharth did breakfast together in their room, spending time with each other.
**************
Avneet and Siddharth were settled on the couch in hall, while Siddharth was laying with his head placed on Avneet's lap and one hand caressing his hair. Her other hand was in Siddharth's hold who was applying nailpolish on her long nails. Something stroke Avneet's mind.
"Um, Siddharth. Can I ask you something?" Asked Avneet still caressing his hair but focused on his answer.
"Why are you asking? Ask it directly na." Whispered Siddharth in answer still busy applying nail polish.
"From when you get these IED attacks? Her question froze him. He suddenly got lost in his thoughts. Avneet raised her eyebrow shaking him.
"Siddharth!"
"Hmm!" He hmmed as he came out of his thoughts to look at Avneet.
"I got it first time when my parents died." Was his short answer.
"You never told that how your parents died?" Asked Avneet in curiosity. He went silent.
"My father died in an accident while my mother died due to heart attack when I was 10 years old. I only spent 10 years with them which I don't even remember." He spoke as a tear fell from his eye unknowingly. He wiped it quickly but Avneet noticed it. She felt bad for him.
"I'm sorry!" She mumbled to which Siddharth shook his head. He got up from her lap facing her holding her hands.
"It's fine!" She smiled at his answer.
"Look, I applied good nailpolish and your hands look so beautiful, pretty." Complimented Siddharth caressing her soft skin when Avneet looked at him.
"It's because my hands are held by your hands. Your hands held my hands and that's why my hands are looking pretty to you." She mumbled which he heard and both had an eye contact. They leaned towards each other resting their lips on each other. It was soothing, passionate kiss. Breaking the kiss, Avneet rested her head on his shoulder while he embraced her by her arms and they had a happy couple time together. They enjoyed each other's company fully for 3 days.
