************** "What!" A low whisper just escaped her lips listening to him. His head was still down, Avneet held his chin and made him look at her.
"Have you gone mad? Do you know what you are talking about?" She yelled looking at him with wide eyes and tears in her eyes while he was sobbing hard.
"I-I can't punish you more. I'm sorry." He whispered still sobbing hard. Avneet melted seeing him like that. She caressed his cheeks softly while he got sobbed.
"You can never punish me." She whispered to which he yelled.
"I am, I am. I see your loneliness when you take care of Vaishu di. I-I don't have any other choice. Please!" He whispered letting his tears out keeping his head on her shoulder hiding his face in her shoulder. Her hair, dress, and shoulder got wet from his tears which made her tears also fall. She slowly caressed his hair to calm him down.
"Siddharth, s-see every problem has a solution also. Right? We can also go for adoption na instead of anything else. W-We can adopt a girl if you want o-or a boy if I want." She whispered in a cracky voice still caressing his hair while tears fell from her own eyes. Siddharth leaned back to look at her.
"C-Can our adoption make us feel like they are our real children? C-Can adoption become my medicine to heal this disability?" He asked stammering while she shook her head violently cupping his face.
"You are not disabled. You are not. Never say that to yourself. Never! You are complete, you are a pure human with a pure heart." Justified Avneet wiping his tears still cupping his cheeks. Siddharth again sobbed hard.
"We can adopt, but I won't leave you. We will adopt but I won't leave you. I won't divorce you." She whispered repeatedly shaking her head hard and weeping badly thinking about his pain, afraid of leaving him and regretting his harm which was made by Ramesh whose responsible was she, herself some way or the other.
************** Avneet came out of the room taking baby steps, as soon as she closed the door Abhishek and Vaishnavi who was sitting at the dining table having breakfast looked at her. His tearly eyes made them worried. Vaishnavi signed Abhishek and helped her get up and they walked towards Avneet who sat on the couch a little far from her room. Her eyes had many emotions. Vaishnavi sat beside her placing her hand on her shoulder. She glanced at Abhishek before speaking.
"Avni, are you crying? Are you okay?" Asked Vaishnavi with a tense face. That was enough to break her down. She hugged Vaishnavi tightly crying violently while Vaishnavi rubbed her back calming her down.
"Shh...Avneet, at least tell us what happened. Why are you crying like this? You went in your room to call Ashu then, where is he?" She burst a lot of questions at a time. Avneet somehow calmed herself wiping her tears and breaking the hug.
