*************** "Avneet, why are you saying like this? Did anything happen at home?" asked Siddharth sitting straight in shock but then doubted as she always thinks like this when her step mother scolds her.
"I can't tell any detail now, it's just my step mom wants money and for that she is selling me. I didn't had any option so-" she bursted all of a sudden crying badly and then was interrupted by Siddharth.
"What! Is she mad?" yelled Siddharth getting frustrated and mad after knowing her mother's mind setup.
"Siddharth, please get me out of here before I become a psycho. Please!" pleaded Avneet giving herself out. Siddharth thought for a second before speaking.
"Okay, calm down. Let me talk to my aunt first and if she denies I promise we will do everything according to your wish. Now calm down. You know right I can't see tears in your eyes. Smile, for me please!" declared Siddharth cheering her up. Avneet nodded wiping her tears.
"What if your aunt denies to accept me?" asked Avneet for confirmation which made Siddharth go into silence.
"For me, my brother and my uncle matters more than my aunt, even if she denies to accept you, she will lose me but I can't affort to lose you at any cost." Siddharth answered her which made her smile through tears. She felt like she had got another life. She sees the same spirit in Siddharth which she found in her father. She was feeling so blessed that atleast she has someone who can leave the entire world for her, just for her.
"I don't like my queen crying like this, I love your smile not tears. Now sleep and remember if everyone leaves you, then also you will find me there. Love you, sweet dreams!" wished Siddharth smiling and knowing she would be blushing on other side of the phone and he was right, yes she was blushing.
"Good night, love you more!" Avneet wished back before hanging the call and laying on her bed feeling calm, peaceful after talking to Siddharth.
While for him, it was a test time. He knew he had only this time, if he didn't talked now he will miss this opportunity. He stood up leaving his room and walked to his Aunt's room. Knocking the door he stood there waiting for someone to allow him. He heard a voice of his aunt granting him permission. He entered inside.
"Siddharth you here at this time? Is everything alright?" Asked his aunt seeing him. His uncle gestured him to sit. He sat down being nervous.
"Actually, aunt I am interested in someone." As soon as he finished his aunt's face fell while his uncle's face brightened. Siddharth was noticing their expressions only. His uncle passed a teasing smile to him to which he blushed while his aunt got angry.
"Who is that girl?" Asked his aunt.
"Avneet, and I want to marry her."
"How can you do this Siddharth?" His aunt bursted which shocked him as well as his uncle.
"But... what is wrong in this aunty?" he asked
"I have already seen a girl for you and you also like her." She exclaimed which confused Siddharth.
"But who is she aunt?" He asked away.
"Your cousin Jannat!!"
"Whatt!!" Was the shocking reaction of both Siddharth and his uncle.
"But aunt I always considered her as my best friend." Exclaimed Siddharth.
"Whatever it is you have to forget that girl." His uncle wanted to protest but he wasn't getting a chance. He knew it was Sidd's right and no one can snatch it from him.
"But I have promised her and I won't break my promise." Saying this he left the room slamming the door hard. His aunt glared his uncle signing him to make Siddharth understand while his uncle ignoring her went behind Siddharth who had left for kitchen to drink water.
He felt a hand on his shoulder. He turn around to find his uncle smiling at him widely.
"Today you learnt how to fight for your right my son. I am so proud of you!" His uncle exclaimed tapping his shoulder engulfing him in the hug.
"But I don't want to go against the woman who raised me after my mom's death. You have done a lot of favours and goodwills to me since I and my brother lost our parents. I don't want my aunt to think that I am not thankful but back stabbing her. But I also can't fulfill her wish. Jannat is like my best friend, my cousin who knows everything about me and I also know that she don't have any feelings for me as aunt has described." He said being on verge of crying.
"Your aunt was lying. He is just forcing Jannat on you or I can say you on Jannat but don't worry I and your brother is always with you. But never take any step without informing us all at least your brother." Assured his uncle with a bright smile and warning him. Siddharth nodded smiling, happily.
"Take rest and don't think much." His uncle again assured him and left for his room leaving Siddharth in his own thoughts.
"I am not a betrayer who will back off from his promise. I have assured her and I will fulfill each and every promise I made to her. I just need your support Dada. I want to know about your reviews and I know you will also support me. I just need your support." muttered Siddharth to himself determined. He looked at his brother's room before leaving for his room.
