Part 1:
Chapter 6 –
April 1st, 1996
Laughter washed over Emilia as the four Gryffindors took a seat in the Great Hall. Looking around the table, she noticed Ginny oiling her Shooting Star broom, a hand-me-down from when Charlie - the second eldest of the Weasley's –played quidditch. Harry at first, was exited for Ginny when she made the team, but his annoyance at not being able to play quidditch, was starting to bother him more than it did months ago and made him envious of Ginny.
With his visions getting worse, and happening more frequently, Emilia felt as if Harry needed quidditch as an outlet for his frustrations. His temper was getting worse as the days wore on and Emilia, Ron, and Hermione were starting to get quite annoyed with the boy who lived.
Shaking her thoughts out, Emilia took a seat beside Hermione, opposite Fred and George, who were passing around a colourful tablet to first year students of all houses.
Hermione shot them a look, "and what do you two think you are doing?"
Fred showed Hermione a goofy smile, "Nothing against the rules here-"
George cut into Fred's sentence, "We are just testing out some new samples we made up. They're called puking pastilles!"
Emilia giggled at the twins as Hermione shot them a scathing look.
"Nothing against the rules! Are you insane? I can count at least five rules that you are breaking, and that excludes using first year students as your test subjects."
A pout formed on George's face, as Fred turned towards Hermione and Emilia.
"Blimey women, it's our birthday today, give us some peace!" Fred said.
George smirked as Hermione's face took on a red tint.
Deciding to stop the argument before it went too far, Emilia cut in.
"Give them slack just this once 'Mione. Next time you catch them, I promise I will ridicule them with you," Emilia said as she gave a quick squeeze to Hermione's shoulder, watching as the young witch deflated a little.
Giving a quick nod of head towards Fred and George and muttering a quiet happy birthday, Hermione headed off, saying that she was going to charms class early to ask Professor Flitwick a question.
As the unruly haired girl left, Emilia turned to the twins with a grin on her face.
"So, what are your devious plans for your birthday this year?" Emilia asked as she took a spoonful of yogurt, making a face at the sourness of it.
Pushing the bowl away from her, she watched as the twin's faces formed into a smile.
"Well seeing as you so kindly asked," George started off before facing his brother.
"We thought to make this years the best, starting off with poor old Umbridge," Fred piped in.
A smirk graced Emilia's face as she leaned towards the twins, urging them to continue.
"We might or might not have snuck into the kitchens today, and slipped a few puking pastilles into her tea," Fred laughed as he rubbed his hands together in a devilish way.
George looked towards his brother, "and that's just the beginning."
The twin's shared an evil glance before looking back at a laughing Emilia.
"Well, I wish you both the best with your pranks today. And Happy Birthday," Emilia winked at them as she stood from the table and walked towards her charms class all while thinking that Umbitch deserved everything she had coming her way today.
