Part 2:

Chapter 50 –

August 31st, 1979

"How do I look?" Lia asked, her eyes gazing over her outfit in the mirror.

She was wearing a pair of muggle jeans that Lily had recently gifted to her, stating that she no longer fit into them. A coral blouse covered her top half, and she was grateful to the shorter sleeves in the type of weather the summer brought to them. Her hair was up in a bun due to the heat, and her eyes closed in pleasure as Sirius breathed cool air against her bare neck.

"Absolutely beautiful," he whispered, his arms wrapping around her waist from behind, "but why are you getting all dressed up for a photo?"

Lia smiled at him in the mirror, her hands covering his. Today was the first official photograph for the Order of the Phoenix and she wanted to look good for it. Eventually when they won this war, people would look back on the group that started it all and hopefully gain inspiration from it to never give up.

She didn't want people thinking she was some sort of slob, even if majority of the time she was. She wanted to be known as someone who tried during the war. Someone who never gave up and gave her everything to keep the people she loved safe.

She wanted to be remembered.

"Because people will see this photo and remember us as the people who helped defeat the Dark one," she stated, "and I don't want people thinking I look ugly."

Sirius sighed as he placed a kiss to the back of her neck before he stepped back. Lia watched as he walked over to their side table to pick up his pocket watch, placing it in his pocket before holding out his hand for her.

"Don't worry darling," he teased, "they don't need a photo to determine that."

Lia huffed out a breath as she reached for his hand, pinching the skin around it tightly and grinning at the yelp he released.

"I wouldn't be talking Black," she muttered, "someone might scream in fright when they notice your photo."

She walked past him with her head held high, but jumped when his hand slapped against her arse, turning to pin him with a glare. She stuck her tongue out when he gave her an innocent look and turned on her heel to continue her path to the floo.

They were heading to the Order base to take the photo and then Fabian and Gideon's sister, Molly, was making them all dinner. It was supposed to be a laid-back night away from the mess around them and Lia was looking forward to it.

"Merlin woman," Sirius panted as he ran up beside her, "how can someone as short as you walk that fast."

Lia smirked at him and turned the corner into the den that held the floo, noticing an impatient Remus tap his watch when he saw them come into the room.

"What happened to 'be ready at five to four'," Remus mocked, his eyes rolling when Sirius pointed at a blushing Lia.

"Blame her Moony," Sirius accused, "apparently she needed to look good for this stupid photo."

Lia glared at her boyfriend and grabbed his finger in between her hands, squeezing until his face contorted into pain and she was satisfied with the way she made her point.

"Some of us don't like to look like sleezeballs Sirius," she gritted out, "and that sentence just cost you a late-night shag tonight."

Lia grinned triumphantly when Sirius' face widened in surprise, and she turned to a gagging Remus who was sticking his finger down his throat.

"Enough with the theatrics Remus," Lia noted as she walked towards the fireplace, grabbing a hold of some floo powder, "it's nothing you haven't done with me before."
