Part 2:

Chapter 42 –

May 14th, 1978

"Lils," Lia said to the girl as she continued to spread butter on the piece of toast in front of her, "why does the study schedule have me studying almost fourty hours a week? On top of all my classes?"

Lily turned to her with a frown, "because that's how many hours you will need to study to pass all of your N.E.W.T.s"

Lia's eyes widened at the seriousness of her tone, her gaze directing to James who shrugged his shoulders and sent a crazy look towards his girlfriend.

"Fourty hours?" Sirius said as he passed Lia her cuppa. The girl gave him a kiss on the cheek in thanks, "where do I come in during all this studying time?" He continued to ask.

Lia looked back towards Lily, nodding at her to show Sirius the schedule she had made the girls and explain the time she had divvied up between everything.

"This," she pointed to the dates and time highlighted in pink, "is her study time each week, and this," she pointed to the ones that were highlighted in green, "is the time she has to do her everyday things, like meals or showering."

Lia stifled a giggle as Sirius looked at Lily with shock, his eyes widening as he deciphered if she was being serious.

"Then this," she pointed to the highlighted yellow colour, "is class time, and finally this one, just right here," Lia squinted her eyes as she looked at the small time of ten minutes a day that was coloured in blue, "is the time that you and Lia get to spend together."

Lily ended with a smile, her face showing excitement as she looked at them. Lia knew that her friend was only thinking about their exams and nothing else, which is why she patted Sirius' shoulder as his mouth opened and closed, and he stared at Lily as if she was joking.

"You're actually being serious?" He giggled quickly at the use of his name before continuing, "I only get ten minutes a day with my girl?"

She continued to rub his shoulder soothingly, and heard her brother blow out a breath, "better than the five minutes I get Pads," he said, "Lily flower has been going crazy over all of this shit and it's still more than a month away."

Lia smiled as Lily smacked him across the back of the head, sending him a glare before turning back to Sirius.

"If Lia chooses to give you more, then you can see that each night I have given her seven hours of sleep," Lily pointed to the area, "she can spend some of that time with you."

Sirius whipped his head back and forth between the two, his eyes wide as he asked, "how am I supposed to get more than two shags a day in with this nonsense?" He asked, his features completely serious.

Lia smacked the back of his head the same way her friend did to her brother and sent him a glare, "you'll get nothing if you say that again," she threatened.

Her brother fake gagged from across of her, his finger pointing into his mouth as he muttered with a sour face, "I agree with Lia. Don't ever mention that again."

Lia rolled her eyes at her brothers' antics, knowing from Lily that the two of them were just as active as her and Sirius were. Her attention went back to Sirius, and she watched with slight concern as he looked deeply at the table, his face frozen in a look of shock.

Tapping his shoulder, she asked, "are you okay?"

Sirius slowly lifted his eyes towards her, sputtering out, "I was being genuine, love. We got to figure out a new schedule because I can't go with only seeing you ten minutes a day."
