February 14th, 1976

Lia sat with Mary McDonald and Dorcas Meadows, fellow fifth year Gryffindors in the dining hall. Mary and Dorcas often hung out with the lot of them, but normally chose to stick to eachother. Marlene guessed that the two were dating, but Alice thoughts against it and Sirius, well Sirius said it would be hot if they were.

"So, what are you doing for Valentine's Day Lia?" Mary asked as she plopped a spoonful of yogurt in her mouth.

Lia smiled as Dorcas used a napkin to wipe a corner of it off Mary's lips, the girl smiling at her in thanks.

"I'm not a big fan of the holiday so I was thinking about just going to the library and catching up on homework," Lia said, "how about you two?"

Mary blushed as Dorcas looked at her expectantly.

"We were thinking about taking the trip down to Hogsmeade today and just spending the day together," Dorcas replied.

Lia watched as Mary smiled at the girl, kissing her on the cheek lovingly.

"I bloody knew it!" Marlene shouted as she took the spot beside Lia. Lia saw Lily sit on the other side of Marlene, and Alice sitting opposite of them with Mary and Dorcas.

"You two are dating!" Alice exclaimed, frowning that she was wrong with her assumptions.

Dorcas sent the girl a glare, daring her to comment on their relationship.

"Yes, we are. Is that a problem?" She asked.

Alice blushed, guiltily looking at the couple.

"NO!" She shouted, "we're happy for the two of you. We just weren't sure if the rumours were true."

Mary nodded at her before looking at the rest of the girls at the table. "We started dating a few weeks ago actually," she responded.

Lia watched as Lily smiled softly at the two of them, "Well, we are happy for you guys."

The girls all nodded their heads and the couple looked at them with thanks.

"We knew it would be hard coming out like this," Dorcas explained, "but we're happy that you guys except it."

Marlene jumped up beside Lia, casing the black-haired girl to spill some of her pumpkin juice down her robes. Sending the blonde, a glare, she watched as her friends danced with joy.

"Happy?" She asked, "more like bloody ecstatic! Now we just need Lily and Lia to find boyfriends and we can all go on a, well," Lia watched as her friend counted with her fingers, "uhm Penta date?"

The girls all laughed, Lia shifting down the stool to take Marlene's spot and sit beside Lily.

"We don't need boyfriends, do we Lils?" She asked her friend, "we have eachother."

Lia kissed Lily's cheek, the red head playing along and throwing her arm around Lia's shoulder.

"Ya, who needs boys when we have each other?" Lily joked.

They all burst out into giggles but were cut off by the voice of James Potter.

"My own sister is stealing my Girl? How rude," James voiced as he took the seat beside a now seated Marlene. Remus and Sirius followed suit and sat opposite of him, beside the new couple.
