Part 2:

Chapter 55 –

February 13th, 1981

"Dumbledore," Lia asked frustratedly, "what the bloody hell is going on."

She watched as he eyed her carefully and she couldn't help but blow out a breath, wishing that she could flip him off in that moment, but with too many eyewitnesses, the most she could do was mentally think about it.

Lia, Sirius, Remus, Peter, James, Lily, Alice, and Frank had been sitting in front of him for the better part of half an hour and the most that he had told them was that someone needed to see all of them and that it was important they listened to what the person had to say.

It had originally peaked Lia's curiosity, and she agreed to wait and see but now she was getting impatient and found this person extremely rude for making them wait so long. As everyone knew, patience wasn't Lia's forte.

Sirius placed a hand on her bouncing knee, no doubt feeling her frustration and grasped on to her left hand, rolling the diamond around with his fingers.

She looked down to it again, loving the way it looked on her. It had been two months since his and Harry's proposal and although she was excited to get married to him, life had taken them on a different path, and she hadn't had any time to even think about the wedding.

They both wanted something small, not one to make things grand even if she did love the way Lily's wedding turned out. She just wasn't sure on who she wanted to invite exactly, seeing as her and Sirius were both picky about who they liked, and she wasn't positive if she wanted it in the backyard of Potter Manor like where her parent's got married or if she wanted it someplace else.

All decisions that she didn't have time for thanks to Voldemort. He had been wreaking havoc on the muggle parts of London lately and Lia found that she was often the one to be sent on these types of missions. She was great with the muggles, holding no ill will towards any of them like Voldemort did and she was excellent at occlumency, something that came into handy when in that type of situation.

Sirius was good at all those things as well, but Moody had been working him to the bone lately and Sirius had no time for anything involving the Order unless it crossed paths with his job as an auror.

"Any moment now Ms. Potter," Dumbledore told her, his glasses falling to the tip of his nose.

She rolled her eyes at the same response he had told her when she asked a few moments ago and watched as Alice and Lily both nervously glanced towards each other as well. They had both left their children in the care of Dorcas and Mary, and as much as all of them trusted the two, they had also never watched over a child before. Lia didn't blame them for being worried, already wondering what mess Dorcas and Mary had gotten the children into.

"Sir," Lily sweetly said despite her nerves, always the one to be a teacher's pet, "James and I will have to leave soon if this person doesn't show up, we left Harry with Dorcas and Mary."

Lia saw Alice nod in agreement, "same with us. Plus, it's our only day off this week and we were hoping that we could take Neville somewhere today."

Dumbledore peered at them with regret and Lia wondered what the heck they were truly there for, "I promise you both that you will want to stay for this," he declared.

Curiosity filled Lia and she was glad when the door to the room opened turning to see a lady that she didn't recognize, her hair crazier than James' was when they were children. Lia watched as she nervously glanced around the room, her fingers toying with eachother before she raced to stand beside Dumbledore, muttering things that Lia couldn't understand to herself.
