Part 2:

Chapter 46 –

December 31st, 1978

"Do we have to go to James and Lily's for New Years?" Sirius whined from their bed.

Lia clipped her earring into her ear before turning to him with a pointed look. He had been complaining about going since James had asked them to on Christmas day. It was only going to be a small affair, just the five of them and Mellie since the rest of the gang was spending time with their respective families.

But apparently Sirius had other plans and he wanted to ring in the New Year with the two of them naked in bed.

"We're going," Lia demanded, signaling the end of the conversation.

Sirius groaned on the bed as he rolled over stubbornly, his back facing her in a way to show his defiance. Lia rolled her eyes as she grabbed her wand, turning to him and muttering, "Aquamenti."

Water spouted out of her wand and splashed over Sirius, causing him to rise from the bed in a rush, the blankets getting caught in his feet and causing him to fall.

Lia giggled as he looked up at her with a look of death, his hair matted to his face from the water and droplets falling down his bare chest.

"What the fuck Lia," he hissed at her as he rose slowly from the ground, his head shaking the moisture out of his hair.

Lia cringed as some of it hit her face, ruining the makeup she had put on for once. She blew out a breath after she opened her eyes and pinned him with a glare.

"I want you at the floo in five minutes," she threatened as she walked towards him with a finger pointed, "or no shagging for a month."

Sirius' face contorted into horror, and he immediately reached for her, the sheets shuffling at his feet as she moved away from him. Lia sent him a teasing grin before she turned around, leaving the room for him to get ready like she asked.

"Lia, wait!" He yelled behind her, but she shut the door off from him and continued on her path to wait at the floo.

As she reached the den that held the fireplace, she concluded that Mellie had already left seeing as the food they had prepared together was no longer on the table. Damn elf always wanted to do things her way and didn't have the patience to wait for Lia.

Lia shook her head as she noticed Remus already sitting on the couch, a glass of firewhiskey in his hand. She knew that he already knew she was there with his werewolf hearing, but she took her time making herself known, instead using it to scan his features.

He had been exhausted as of late from all the work that Dumbledore was making him do for the Order. He had him focusing on the werewolves that Voldemort was trying to recruit for his army. Lia found it disgusting how he was using them despite his whole point of the war being that he hated anyone that wasn't pureblood.

But regardless he was, and Dumbledore wanted Remus on it seeing as he was the prime candidate. Thankfully when the word of Remus' condition had been spread to the rest of the Order, nobody made a fit about it and accepted Remus for who he was.

If they did, they would have answered to Lia.

"Are you going to sit?" Remus asked, his voice echoing through the room, "we both know Sirius takes longer than a girl to get ready, so we have time."

Lia chuckled at his words, finding them to be nothing but true and took the seat beside him. Their thighs grazed as she sat down and she motioned for him to hand over his drink, wanting to get the night started already.
