Part 2:

Chapter 52 –

February 10th, 1980 (I'm sorry everyone )

"Sirius?" Lia questioned, turning in her spot as she sipped her cuppa, "I thought you were helping Fabian and Marlene move out of her parents' house this morning?"

Marlene had finally agreed to leave her parents' house and move into one with Fabian after months of him asking her to make the next step. The two had been dating longer than any of their friend group besides Alice and Frank and yet Marlene could still be a commitment phobe.

She was happy for her friends, wanting them to experience their life as much as they could and knew that eventually Fabian would also wear her down for marriage.

Sirius shrugged as he walked over to the kettle make his own cuppa coffee before sitting across from her at the table.

"I woke up late," he explained, taking a sip of his steaming cuppa and wincing at the heat, "besides, Peter and Gideon are helping out, so I'll just meet them at their new flat with James and Remus."

Lia nodded in acceptance and leaned across to give Sirius a kiss, having not seen him this morning since, shocker, she was a morning person, and he was not. Usually if he was working, he would be up before her but whenever he had a day off, he had no problem sleeping until the late afternoon.

Sirius minty breath pulled her in closer, allowing herself to let go as his tongue swiped over her lips, begging for access. She granted it quickly, opening her mouth and entangling her own with his, loving the way he lavished her with a single body part of his.

Sirius pushed her hand off her cuppa, directing it towards his hair for her to dig her fingers into. She smiled into the snog, internally rolling her eyes as she massaged his scalp, lightly pulling on the ends of his silky hair. She moaned quietly when Sirius tugged on her bottom lip, sucking it into his mouth as if he was sucking a different part of her.

"Good morning to you guys too," Remus quipped, causing them to pull a part.

Lia blushed lightly, moving away from Sirius but the horny dog pulled her back for one more kiss before grinning wolfishly at Remus.

"Sorry mate," he gloated, "morning wood and all."

Lia slapped his arm, sending him a glare before turning to Remus with a sheepish smile, nodding towards a cuppa she had made for him that morning and ignoring the shocked glare that Sirius sent her for making him make his own.

"Good morning, Remus," she said sweetly, "how was your sleep?"

Remus sent her a deadpanned look, sitting across the table from her and Sirius, "I had a dream that my best mates were snogging in front of me," he placed a finger on his chin in fake thoughtfulness, "oh wait, that wasn't a dream."

Lia rolled her eyes at his exaggeration, placing a kiss on Sirius' cheek to make a point.

"Well," she drawled, "that must have been a nightmare for you."

Sirius sent her a grin and Remus glared at her over his cup, taking a sip before responding, "it really was."

She sat back in her seat with a shrug, using her cuppa to warm her cool hands up and felt Sirius throw an arm around her chair.

"What time did you want to leave Moony?" Sirius asked, changing the conversation entirely, "James said he would meet us there at noon. Apparently, Mellie is annoying the bloody hell out of him."

Mellie had been staying with James for the majority of the month, claiming that she was aiding Lily in her pregnancy the same way that she helped out Lia's mother when she was pregnant with her and James. She couldn't help but feel slightly bad for them. She loved the house elf, but she could be a force to reckon with when she had her mind set on something, and she was set on treating Lily like a delicate flower and bossing James around to do whatever they both needed.
