~Mila~

'Mila? MILA! Please wake up!' Asher was shaking me hard in an attempt to get me back into consciousness.

My eyes flew open and when I saw his glorious face I simply started crying en hugged him tight. 'Sweetheart, what is wrong?' He was silent for a second. 'You had another dream?'

I nodded in the nape of his neck and pulled back a bit. 'Everyone died.' I huffed and clutched my stomach. The hollowness was gone instantly but the memory of that excruciating feeling lingered in my mind. 'You died and I felt it.'

He hugged me tight and whispered in my ear. 'I'm still here and I plan to be for a very long time.'

I pulled back and looked at him reprimanding. 'You'd better. Don't you dare die on me Asher Woods.'

He chuckled at that. 'I wouldn't dream of it my love, tell me what you dreamt so we can work on changing this future you had a brief glimpse of.'

'It's a lot so I'd better write everything down, then we can brainstorm.' I said rationally.

He stood up and walked towards the desk that stood in front of the gorgeous bay window. He swiftly grabbed a pen and paper and came back. Comfortably installing himself next to me.

I took the notebook and pen from him and started writing every little detail I could remember. 'So the attack will happen January the seventh. That gives us nine weeks to prepare ourselves.' He was reading everything I wrote down. And while I did that he commented slightly. 'I already mind linked Liam en the other Beta's to find that witch. Quinn and Callum will meet you in a hour to start training on your powers. Callum remembers some things about how your father trained so that might be useful.

After evaluating the facts we came to four conclusions. I really needed to get my powers under control. The witch really needed to be found, we needed to gather all the forces necessary and we needed to find and destroy all the traitors so that there would be no sabotage from within.

We already made a plan for the first two points.

'I'll contact all the alpha's I know we can trust. They will send us the necessary reinforcements. I'll also scan the minds of all the wolves in our surrounding area to see if I can find out who will turn their backs on us.'

Asher took my notes and wrote down several names I did not recognize. 'I've heard of Ava and Orpheus but who are Lachlan, Jackson and Murdoch?'

They are Alpha's of packs up north. Lachlan is the Alpha of Evotan, that's the most reclusive pack in the US. They live in Ontario. The Evotan pack members sometimes don't even turn back into their human selves. They are the only ones who I know who can actually do that without losing their minds eventually. They are very close to nature. They are a very primal pack although they know all about the modern world they simply choose not to be a big part of it. I'm sure they would be interested in helping because Banes will threaten their way of living. Jackson is the Alpha of fleeting Dawn. That's the pack above us and next to Lunar Sky. They are based near Toronto. He recently found his mate so he will want peace as soon as possible so that he can focus on more important things.'

'Important things like family life?' I asked aloud. Asher hugged me. 'It might surprise you but as a pack we really love children and home life. We strive to be as happy as possible.' 'And procreate as much as possible.' I snorted jokingly.

Asher simply smiled. He sensually whispered in my ear. 'It's more that the act of procreating is so enjoyable that I usually strife for that. Having a child with you is a dream come true. However, making love and loving the woman of my dreams to both our hearts content is my lives mission.'
