Chapter 10. Innocent seduction has never been sweeter

I saw his blue eyes and dark form before I saw anything else. The bushes were pushed out of the way and there he stood. His wolf was even more magnificent then I remembered from my dream.

His coat was black as night with a gorgeous shine in it. He was tall, much taller then I was and muscular.

‘Mate.’ I heard a voice said in our head. Calia was still in control and I could feel her exuberance then the wolf said that in a protective manner.

‘I am Asher.’ He said to us.

I felt myself being forced back into my conscious state and Calia grinned. ‘It’s not me he wants to talk to.’

‘I am Mila.’ I thought to him and he came closer. His scent was all around me and I couldn’t help but relax when I smelled it.

‘It’s a pleasure to finally meet you Mila, I want to thank you for saving my life.’ His velvety voice made me want him instantly and the meaning of his words was almost lost to me.

‘Wait, saving your life?’

‘If you haven’t sent Aaron to prevent me from going to visit that pack I would have been dead by now.’ He explained and came even closer.

His snout touched my side and he pressed his wolf against me. Tingles erupted from where we touched and I couldn't help but feel mesmerized.

‘I’ve never seen a she wolf with this amazing color. I am thankful that you are my mate and you are alright.’ I could sense the worry in his tone.

‘Those wolves were no match for my wolf.’ I smiled at the memory of Calia’s magnificence.

He looked at me inquisitively. ‘You let your wolf completely in charge?’

I nodded.

‘That is a sign of pure trust between you and your wolf. It’s uncommon to already have that kind of bond after one day. You sure are something else.’ He replied and I felt warm because of his praise.

Calia spoke up. ‘That will be a wolf her way of blushing. Please just let his wolf mark you in wolf state. We need that protection when we go to the New York pack, we have time but not much.’

I sighed silently and looked at Asher. ‘My wolf Calia said she wants you to mark us in wolf state.’

He nodded. ‘It’s the most sensible thing to do when you are not ready to be truly marked and claimed. I take it you are not ready for that?’

As much as I wanted to say that I was I knew I wasn’t. ‘No, I am not ready. I do not know you even though it’s undeniable that we are attracted to each other. I want more than just the mate bond.’

‘I understand.’ He said and I knew he meant it.

‘So how does this work?’ I asked him and he gave me a wolfy grin.

‘It’s pretty easy.’ He stood in front of me and touched my snout, then he caressed the side of my head with his. I felt are warm and sensual because of the hormones he was emitting. At least, that is what Calia whispered. He moved lower to the place just above my collarbone.

If I were in my human form it would have been the left side of my neck. I felt his warm breath on my fur and when he bit me I felt warm and sparks flew through my entire body. I trembled with delight. I never imagined it would feel this good. He licked the wound and I felt it close

After that he looked at me. ‘Are you alright?’

At that moment all I wanted was to jump his bones. I heard him chuckle. ‘Judging by the smell of your arousal I think you are doing better than fine. I’m not sure I want you around unmated guys right now.’
