64: Izumi is a problem child

Tsunade's POV:

Izumi is much more ill than I thought but what was I supposed to expect? She's the embodiment of a problem child and the bane of all doctors in existence. How the hell is she even alive? (I've asked that far too many times at this point) The burdens that she was forced to hold has reduced her this state. I definitely have to do even more procedures because the ones I've prepared are not enough. If anything I need to get this done as fast as possible since she's probably the only one who could track and spy on Madara given by how she didn't get caught by him for so long. All the other ones that have been sent either couldn't get in the organization or they got killed right after their identity got discovered. Not only that, she could drop dead at any minute. Only reason why she's still alive is simply due to sheer willpower and abusing the use of suppressants. As I listed everything I would be doing, I noticed something purple on her forehead that's covered by her long brown hair. What's that?

Third Person's POV:

Tsunade quickly listed all the procedures she'd have to do while Izumi gave some of her own suggestions as she secretly turned off her amnesia ability. It didn't take long for Tsunade to sedate her and start the surgery. It was just the Senju operating on Izumi since her identity is a secret.

10 minutes prior...

Minato sat down on the bedside with Yui as Kushina berated her son for his recklessness. "You idiot! Why the hell did you go out there when you're the target?! I get that you can't sit back and wait for the results but there are times that you have to! This is one of them! If your father, Lord Jiraiya and Kakashi wasn't there, do you think you'd still be here with us?! We're lucky that your cousin managed to come back and intercept Pain's attack  and fought him on a separate area because if the info about him is correct, we probably won't have a home to go back to!" Naruto grimaced and turned to Minato with puppy eyes, asking for help which Minato simply shook his head.

"Naruto, I'm on your mother's side this time. There will be times where you have no choice but to sit back and let others do it. There's nothing wrong with wanting to help and defend your allies and friends from the enemy but sometimes you have to let others do it especially if you're the enemy's target. You know you're not alone, you have people who care for you and will protect you without having to be asked."

Naruto looked down as Yui got on the bed to tug his bandaged arm, "Nii-san, you do realize you literally ran out to the battle, clearly knowing you're the target right? You want to defeat the enemy but you didn't think it through." Naruto looked to the side, "Yui-chan, I had a plan y'know." His eyes were shifty, staring out the window as if the sight of construction and sawdust in the air was a pleasant sight which Yui noticed easily so she reached up and pinched his ear as hard as she could and pulled it, "You're not fooling any of us Nii-san." Naruto's face scrunched up in pain as his arm started flailing madly, "Ow! Ow! Ow! Yui-chan that hurts!"

Minato simply sighed as Kushina deadpanned and crossed her arms. The man looked at the clock and stood up, "I have to go now." Kushina looked at him from the corner of her eye and nodded. Yui was still pulling her brother's ear and said brother was wailing loudly so they didn't hear their father quietly slip out of the room. Minato teleported to his office with hiraishin and dismissed his guards before he started to set up a formation. Jiraiya slipped into the office shortly after via window and Hiashi walked in the office just as Minato finished setting up.

"It's starting," Hiashi said with his byakugan activated as he looked in the hospital's direction. "Then let's start!" Jiraiya and Minato had figured out a way to connect all the arrows so they could simply take turns to send chakra to all 9 of them at the same time without having to run all over the place. They had all gathered in the Hokage office and had a bunch of anbus guarding the place so they wouldn't be disturbed. Jiraiya slammed his palms together and plopped down on the floor with a pre written seal on the floor in front of him.
