"You felt that ?" I asked Chara. "Felt what ?" She responded, not having a single clue. "I felt huge Determination, seems to be coming from your house." I said as I got up from the couch, putting on shoes. "And I have a bad feeling about this." I said, being ready. "Let's go check it." Chara said as I nodded. "Let's hope you can run fast and long enough." I said as I wanted to be as fast as possible at their house. "I'll follow, now go." She said as she started running.
As we ran, I got a call, it was a unknown number, but I decided to answer it. "Hey, sorry we're kind of in a hurry-" I said but a voice interrupted me. "Y/N ! It's Sans, come at Toriel's house, I need you and Chara as fast as possible." He said and ended the call. "Faster." I said to Chara as we sprinted as fast as we could. "Who was it ?" Chara asked, between breathes. "Sans, something's wrong." I just said, having a feeling that the night will be long.
"Sorry Mom !" Chara yelled as we barged into the house, we ran upstairs, in Frisk's room. We entered in the room and I saw Sans, Asriel and Frisk in the room, but near Frisk was an orange and black ... menu ? I focused a little and I saw 'CONTINUE' in a rectangle, and 'RESET' in the other. "Frisk, hey, please close that." I said, looking at her. She was crying, and a lot. Fuck me. "Why ? Don't you want a normal life, without knowledge of my powers ?!" She snapped back. "Listen, I don't know why the fuck you did all this, but from what I've listen from Chara, you must have a reason." I said, trying to calm her down. "And what if I WANTED to do all that huh ? What if I wanted to kill all the monsters ? You thought about that ?" Frisk said, her voice was broken. "Hey, Frisk. I don't know for sure. But ... I feel like you're too kind to cause harm without seconds thoughts." I said, but she didn't calm down. "Didn't you said that you hated us ?" She said, I was a little stunned. "I wanted some space for myself, when you suddenly know that all of this can be sent back to time, it's a little nerve-wracking. I don't hate anyone." I said as I approached her. "Stay back." Frisk said as she hovered her hand on the 'RESET' button. I decided to do a new approach. "Are you sure that you want to do this ?" I said, I could feel the eyes of the people in this room staring at me. "You do know that if you do a RESET, it will happen again right ?" I said, Frisk just looked at me. "All of my déja-vu impression, the feeling that I'm not supposed to be here. It's because it already happened once right ?" I said, everyone was stunned, they thought I knew just about the Underground's RESET. "That's why it felt like stuff already happened before. It's alright, just don't do this this time." I said, I a put my hands in the air. "RESET can only bring temporal happiness, in the long term, you'll just be the shadows of your being." I said, smiling at Frisk, she just signed. "You are right, but you won't remember a thing, you wanted a normal life, let me give it to you." Frisk said as her hands was closer to the RESET button.
Think, Y/N, THINK !
Without a thought I summoned my gauntlet and I put my hand in the direction of the 'MENU'. It bulged so I just grabbed it and put it towards me. I put my hand on the 'RESET' button, and mentally, a 'menu' just opened.
[GIVE CONSTRAINS TO RESET ABILITY ?] Yes.
[NAME THE CONSTRAINS ?] Frisk can RESET only if Asriel, Sans, Chara AND I are dead.
[CONFIRMING CONSTRAINS ?] Yes.
[CONSTRAINS APPLIED, RETURNING THE 'MENU' TO ITS ORIGINAL OWNER]
As I saw the 'MENU' sliding towards Frisk, I felt a jolt of pain in my soul. I grabbed my chest and breathed heavily. I looked at Frisk in the eyes. "Now, be my guest and try and RESET." I said, smiling. Chara, Asriel and Sans was shocked to hear my words. "Please, Frisk, don't." Sans said. Frisk just smiled and pressed the button. Only to have zero reactions. "What ?!" Frisk said as she tried once again, zero reactions. She slammed the button, and a pop up showed up, saying 'Requirement not met. Impossible to execute.' I smiled and laughed, but it was short as the pain was still there. "Looks like you can't." I said, Frisk was surprised. "But it huts to change the rules of the timeline." I said as I took a seat on her bed. "I changed the rules, you can't RESET if Sans, Asriel, Chara and I are alive." I said, patting her back. "B-But why ? Don't you want your n-normal life ?" She asked, sobbing. "I don't care of it now, I can't see you being all gloomy. It's the past, Frisk. Even if what you did was unacceptable. I forgive you, I didn't saw right away that you were the one who's hurting the most because of that." I said, rubbing her back.
"And I suppose I come clean too." I said. "There's something I need to talk to you about." I continued. They all looked at me. I stood up and moved in a spot where everyone can see me. I sighed and summoned my gauntlet, letting them know about its color. "I'm not fully human, I am an experiment, for the AP and DSH projects. I'm don't know what is the 'DSH'. But I do know what is AP. It stands for Ancient Power. The magic that can overcome and overwrite Determination powers, such as the RESET." I said as I paused, letting myself remembering. "Wait, not fully human ?" Asriel asked, I nodded as I took a breath. "My brain was rewired, in a way that I can remember completely any magic spells, any timelines. Ancient Power can be used to absorbing, examining, and restructuring any magic attack I receive. It's like a bundle of things." I said, laughing at the end, trying to ease the tension. "Wait wait wait, THE Ancient Power ?" Sans and Asriel asked. "Yeah, I mean if there is other, let me know." I said, Asriel was scared and Sans' eyes disappeared. "Y/N, Ancient Power wasn't made to overcome Determination. It was made to overcome the magic limits of humans, merging all sorts of magic existing. The post powerful magic ever created." Sans said, I could feel that I wasn't an experiment to counter Determination. "Let me get to the point, I'm a experimental weapon ?" I asked, rhetorically. "Sadly yes, but how did they managed to get you in the first place ?" Sans asked. "I honestly don't know, all the things I remember come in sort of dreams, or visions when I'm witnessing something linked to it." I said, rubbing my head. "And trust me, I didn't want that, even if it can come handy. I did not have a great time when the projects was spreading in my body." I said, Frisk and Chara looked at each others. "That's why you were 'sick' ?" Frisk asked. "Exactly, it was the worst, I felt like dying each time I made a physical choice. And when I used magic, it didn't matter if it was a small thing or a big thing, it made me wanna fucking end it." I said, as I didn't want to suffer like that anymore.
"So now I'm dealing with a kid who can bend time at will, two resurrected kids and one kid who can basically be invincible. I'm not paid enough for this." Sans said to himself, tired and sighing after looking at us. It seems like he's the only one being 'normal' in this room. "Y/N, did you meant it ?" Frisk asked, and I knew what she was talking about. "Remember what I said in the first day ?" I said to her, hiding my response. "You told us that you never lie." Frisk said, I just looked at her until the realization hit her, and it did, and she was crying a little again. "How can we deserve you ?" Frisk said, smiling a little. "You'll have to deal with me until you see someone better." I said, laughing. Frisk punched my shoulder playfully and hugged me right after, I was surprised but I hugged her back. "Don't worry, as I said for Chara, I'm here for you all, if you ever need a shoulder, it can be mine." I said, Frisk nodded and broke the hug. Then Chara suddenly kissed me and hugged me. "I don't need to find someone else, you are everything I want right now." Chara said, even in this situation, I felt my heart being filled with happiness and joy. "I can say the same thing for you, Red." I said, as I kissed her forehead.
"Now that this phase is settled, wanna eat and sleep here, Y/N ?" Frisk asked me. "I mean, are you sure that Toriel will accept ?" I asked, even if I was serious minutes ago, now I'm just a teenager who will sleep in the same house as his girlfriend. "Come on big boy, you can't handle a dinner with your step-family ?" Frisk asked, teasing me. "I can handle everything you'll throw at me." I said, faking my over-confidence. "Ohoh, then you'll sleep with Chara tonight~" Frisk said, leaving her room to see Toriel. For fucks sake.

"S-So, you want to sleep with me ?" Chara shyly asked, Toriel did say yes to Frisk's demands, and kindly offered a dinner who could surpass the world renowned chefs. "I-I mean, if you're alright with me." I stuttered, being completely nervous about that. "Of course I am, you're by b-boyfriend after all." She said, entering her room and waited for me. "Then, I'll gladly sleep with you, Red." I said, calming down as I didn't want to rush 'special' things with her. I wanted to take my time, and do things when she'll be ready.
"Good night, I love you N/N." Chara said, kissing my cheek. "Good night, I love you too Red." I said as I kissed her lips.
As I said, that day was fucking eventful, but everything is good, now we just need to rest and enjoy our lives.
