Chara's POV.
"What do you mean by that ?" Frisk asked to me. "I mean that they managed to make Y/N different. Cold, thirsty for blood. They broke Y/N to the point where he's just a being of violence." I said, even a deaf person could notice how monotone my voice was. "No sense, Y/N can't b-" "Can't be like that ? Of course he can. He just managed to tie his dark self down, Zackaria, Jake, Volt and Diac managed to cut down those ropes." I said, cutting Frisk's sentence. David wasn't saying anything, and fortunately, everyone besides us were away. "How are you ?" Frisk asked me. "I'm perfectly fine Frisk. My boyfriend just switched of 'an innocent dude who wanted peace' to 'I'll fucking murder everyone who mess with me' Of course I'm fucking fine." I said, even if I hated to think that, Y/N scared me the moment he looked at me with those twisted eyes.
"I should wait for him to wake up to say it to you." David started, Frisk and I looked at him, his expression showed nothing. "That side of his, that mad one. It was always in his brain, he chose to nullify it for the greater good." He said, which left Frisk stunned. "Why ?" I asked. David sighed as he stood up from his chair, near Y/N's body on the couch. "I did tell you that we were bullied before. At middle school, just after his dad died, some group bullied us. That put Y/N's mind through a lot, and then one day, he just exploded. If I didn't stopped him, he would be accused of three murders." He said, it was my turn to be stunned. "I know, such a sweet guy capable of that. He was never lucky before, it was like the universe wanted him to suffer. Since that day, he blocked almost every emotions. After some time the Crew thing happened, you know the story." He finished. Soon after, we all heard a grunt. And it was the grunt of my boyfriend who woke up.
Y/N's POV.
"You good ?" David asked me, I grunted as I stood on my two feet. "Yeah, feeling light in my head for once." I said, the Spiral was finally gone, well, it merged with me. "I said to them about why you internalized your negative emotion, and the cause." David said, I just nodded, thanks to him I won't do some backstory dialogue. "Good." I only said, Frisk was happy to see me on my feet, but Chara was wary of me, of course she would. I just sighed as I made my way towards the kitchen to grab a cup of water, I surely deserve it.
"Why didn't you tell us about that ?" Chara suddenly broke the silence, I finished my cup and I looked at her, I was surprised. Her eyes were watering, as if she would cry any seconds but the tears won't fall down. "I knew that you would feel exactly what you're feeling right now." I said, sighing, I was tired to lie about that anyway, I would've talk about it sooner or later. "How can you be so chill ?" Chara asked me, I could see a tear falling down from her eye. "Because that's how I truly am, I've grown mentally when I blocked my emotions. But it was my way to deny what I am now." I said. "You're normal, just a person who happened to have the worst luck possible." Chara said, slowly walking towards me. "Why are you doing this ? I know you're scared of me now, so why do you put yourself into that." I asked her, she dryly smiled as she continued to walk. "Because I don't want you to think that you're alone now, you got us. You got me." She said, standing right ahead of me. "That's the thing Red, I AM alone. I'm the only one who have that fucking program, I am the only one that could kill Diac." I said, her face was showing her pain. But I couldn't afford to lie anymore.
I sighed as I hugged her, she seemed surprised, but she hugged me back nonetheless. "Just after I knew about that group, after I killed Zackaria. I wanted to end it all." I said, which caused Frisk and Chara to gasp, but not David. Chara broke the hug and looked at me dead in the eyes. "I wanted a normal life, with normal things. Not a life where suddenly I learned that I was an Experiment to host some weird ancient voodoo shit. Of course I wanted to end my life, like that, I wouldn't have to experience all of this." I explained. "A-And why didn't you do it ?" Chara asked, her voice was trembling. "Because I knew that even if it would do me good, I also knew that it would do bad for any of you. So I carried on, hoping that all of that would end eventually." I said, David looked at me and smiled without any emotions. "Just like old times." He just said. I dryly laughed. "Exactly." I just said, the sisters were looking down at their feet.
I knew that they wanted to ask me questions. "Go on, ask." I said loudly, enough to break their trance. "What now ?" Chara asked. Simple enough. "I'll hunt Diac down to finish it all." I just said, Chara stomped her foot down. "No ! You need to breath and rest !" She yelled, I laughed a little as she was cutely trying to deny my wish. "Sorry Red, but you won't change my mind now." I said. "But you know that it'll mean that you'll be killed !" She yelled once again, and once again, I laughed. "Yeah, I know. And if I'm lucky it'll get Diac killed too." I said, Chara suddenly slapped me. "Please don't, Y/N. Don't do it please, I don't want to see my loved one be killed, I don't want to see it again, I don't..." Her voice trailed off, it was touching to see her like that, I knew that she truly loved me. "I'm sorry, that's the only way." I said, putting my hand on her shoulder.
"So that's it ? That's the end ?" David asked. I was at the doorstep, I couldn't dare to look back. I felt tears on my cheeks. "Yeah, it's been a good one with you around guys." I just said, soon enough, I heard cries, of Frisk, David and Chara. "Don't worry, it'll be painful for a moment, it'll wash off." I said, to be honest, it was fucking hard for me as well, turning my back at the only person I truly loved. "Y/N." Chara's voice was calling me. "Yeah ?" I 'asked' back. "If you come back alive, I'll make sure to propose to you." She said, and it stunned me. It stunned so much that I couldn't dare not looking at her. And her face was sad, yet beautiful. "You heard me, I don't care how much time you'll be gone, but I'll fucking wait for you and I won't let you out of my sight for one second after." She said, I couldn't help to laugh, wholeheartedly. "With that in mind you bet I'll come back, I can't let you hanging." I said, smiling. "I'll be sure to be the one you need." I said while leaving the Dreemurr's home. I noticed more tears falling on my cheeks, I looked at the sky, sighed loudly, and started to walk where I thought Diac was.
I'll make sure to come back, even if it kills me.
