Chapter 6

Chara's POV.

Holy shit I hugged him, I hugged Y/N. What did it feel ? Did he liked it ? Did he loved it ? Did he disliked it ? Did he hated it ? What will he think of me now ... He must think I'm a weirdo, a creep... I'm helpless...

"Chara ? Did you just hugged your friend Y/N ?" Mom said, and of course, Frisk heard it. "OH MY GOD YOU HUGGED HIM ?!" Frisk yelled, I just nodded, blushing of embarrassment. "I knew you could do it !" Frisk yelled in excitement. "Okay okay, now what is going on ? First you didn't tell me you made a friend Chara, that's wonderful !" Mom said, being happy as always. "Okay, so how did you guys met ?"

"Wow, that Y/N really is kind now that I know all of it." Mom said after Frisk told her our meeting with Y/N, I wasn't really listening. This hug, that wasn't like when I hug Frisk or Mom, it was warmer, more comfortable, more pleasant... "Chara are you okay ?" Frisk asked. "Y-Yeah... I am." I responded, what is happening to me ? "Okay sis, mom and I are here, what's on your mind ?" Frisk asked while mom just looked at me with kindly eyes. "When I saw Y/N being hurt, I was stressed, I was thinking : 'what if they punch him too hard ?'  'what if Y/N will be seriously hurt ?'. I was terrified for him, so when they ran away, I was relieved to see that Y/N wasn't going to get hurt anymore, but I was still stressed about his injuries." I paused a little, and took a little sip of my chocolate milk. "But when I saw mom healing him, I was truly relieved, like a boulder was just destroyed off my heart. And then..." I paused one more, but because I felt my cheeks was getting hotter. "I-I hugged him, just because I wanted to hug him, to make sure I-I'm glad he's okay." I continued. "Chara, that's really sweet of you." Mom said. "But..." I interrupted. "But ?" Frisk asked. "This hug was ... w-warmer, comfortable, pleasant, even more than the hugs I give to you." I finished. There was a brief moment of silence, and I couldn't help but to finish my chocolate milk as I was hotter by the second. "Chara." Mom said. "Y-Yes ?" I responded. "It seems like you got your first crush." Mom smiled brightly. "See ? I told you Chara !" Frisk smiled brightly too. "M-My first crush ?" I asked, more to myself to them. "Yeah, how do you feel when you talk ?" Mom asked. "I don't know for sure. I like t-talking to him, when he sits next to me, I-I feel safe, he's  c-cute and doesn't judge by the appearance. He's understanding and knows how to make me laugh." I said to them, only to see them fangirling. "I'm so happy for you !" Mom said. "B-But what should I do ? I don't want him t-to freak out !" I panickily said. "Did you remember what I told you ?" Frisk asked. To be myself ? "To be myself ?" I asked. "To be yourself." Frisk confirmed. "You are cute, beautiful, even if you don't like humans, you decided to trust him, so trust yourself, and you'll see if that's a small crush, or real love." Frisk continued. "And if it's true love and you see he's actually interested, flirt with him, hug him, make sure to spend some time alone, go on dates. Be yourself and I am sure that he will fall in love too." Frisk ended, she sure does provide real advices. "Thanks Frisk, thanks mom, I love you both." I said, hugging them. "I love you too honey."  "I love you too sis." They both said at the same time.

As I read his message, I can't help to smile and kick my legs a little on my bed.

Since that message, he didn't respond or even read it, he might be asleep. I might wrote him goodnigh-

I plugged my earphones in my phone and I called him. That's the first time I'm ever doing that. I'm stressed

"Hey Chara !" His voice was heard in my ears. "H-Hey Y/N, how are you doing ?" I said, I already asked that question... "I'm better now ! The pie was also really good !" He happily said. "Ahah, mom's cooking is the best in the world." I said, pretty sure that's true. "I don't wanna be rude, but I prefer my mom's cooking, one day you might taste her specialty : noodles with a tasty tomato sauce and delicious meat balls, all made by her hands. Well not the noodles, but the rest is !" He said, excited. "That sure sounds delicious, maybe one day !" I said, kinda excited to eat that one day. "I'm sure it'll happen, I mean you let me eat at your place, one day I'll invite you over to eat too. That's the least I can do to thank you." He said, I could hear him smiling through the phone. "Then I'll gladly take the offer Y/N." I responded. "That's nice to hear Chara." He said. I don't know what to say anymore, please someone help me. "H-Hey Chara." I heard his voice between my mental yelling. "Yeah, what is it ?" I responded. "The hug from earlier, what was that for ?" He asked, his voice was more timid. And I could feel my cheeks being red, again. "I-I was happy to see you alright, a-and it was for thanking you, y-you did protected us." I said, being a red mess as I see on the dark reflection on my phone. "Oh o-okay, it's because..." He paused a little, please don't think of me as a creepy girl. "I was s-surprised and ..." And ? Please don't do that you are stressing me. "It's felt good, being h-hugged by you, Chara." He finished. Huh ? He liked the hug ? "Oh s-sorry, I must sound weird." He added. "Oh no, don't think t-that. You ... You liked the hug ?" I asked, not sure of myself, at all. "Yeah, I liked it, not y-you ?" He asked, timidly. "I liked the h-hug too, don't worry." I said. "Oh good, I-I was afraid you might not liked it." He said, even though it was me who hugged him first ? Once again, he's too cute.

It's been a while since we were in the call, at least one hour and thirty minutes, since it's already 22:00, normally I would be asleep, but I like talking to him, it feels really nice, and warm. "Y/N, you there ?" I asked, it's been 5 minutes since he didn't said a word. "Are you asleep ?" I asked... No response, he must be in the world of his own dreams, I'm hoping I would be there... No, Chara ! Don't think that. "I'm gonna go to sleep, goodnight, I wish you a good night of rest, N/N. " I turned off the call after. Why did I call him N/N ? Well he's asleep, he didn't hear it right... Right ?

I put my phone in charge and I was ready to sleep and see him tomorrow, it feels pleasant to have someone to love. As soon as I was gonna go sleep, I received a message from Y/N.

<Sorry I fell asleep, goodnight, sleep well, you deserve it Red <3>
