As I was woken up by the sun beaming in my eyes, I groaned as I was annoyed by that beam light. I got up silently as I closed silently the window, I looked at my phone and I reed 11:03. I sure did slept quite a lot that night. I signed as I looked over Chara, which wasn't there. I was confused and I got downstairs. I didn't see anyone as I looked around the kitchen, the living room, even the bathroom. When I finished to check the bathroom, I heard a shrill coming from outside, I quickly rushed to the door, I opened it and I saw ... a massacre.
Chara, Frisk, David, and the dust of several monsters were on the ground. The only one alive was Chara, but it wasn't for long. She had an arm cut off, her eyes were bleeding as they were pierced, and her throat was sliced. I saw her extending her arm for me, and then it went limp, she was dead, all of them were dead.
"How come they get killed with such brutality ?" A voice said behind me, my spiral was enabling as I turned around with a Ancient Fire-filled knife. I stroke at that man and he dodged fast, too fast. I didn't see its hit coming and it connected in my guts, piercing me with strength. "Come on, don't you know how to greet a old pal ?" The person, which was a dude, said. His entire body was shadowed, and I couldn't see his face because of some clothing he wore. "You're no fucking pal, you're a bastard." I said, he quickly pulled out his hand which impaled me and laughed. "Damn, you're sure a mouthful." The man said, slowly retiring the clothes on his face. "Didn't remember you like that." He said, as I couldn't move one bit, once his bandana fell down, I couldn't help but to be ... stunned, scared, angered.
"Come on, you knew it was me, after all, that's what you fear the most no ?" The dude... 'I' said. The person who killed them, was me. "I just did what I was supposed to do. Be a weapon. And you're just neglecting that, refusing to embrace your true nature." 'I' said. I laughed a little. "Fucking kill me already." I said to me, he laughed too. "Too bad." He said as he started to do some magic trick, reanimating Chara, Frisk and David. "You're here to suffer." He said, maniacally. I'm fucking want to kill him, I wan-
"Y/N WAKE UP !"
I snapped back to reality and quickly summoned my gauntlet, but it was already on my hand, fucking nightmare. I looked at the voice and it was Chara and Frisk, the both of them looking scared and worried. "Thank god !" Chara said, quickly hugging me. "C-Chara ?" I said, as I touched the back, I delivered a long sigh of relief as I couldn't help but to tear up. "You're alive." I said as I cried a little. That nightmare was more scaring that I thought. "Yeah, of course silly. Why would you say that ?" Frisk said, joining the hug too. I wanted to make sure that it was really a nightmare, so I broke the hug and rushed downstairs, seeing Asriel, Asgore, Toriel, even Sans and Gaster. I looked back at Chara and Frisk and I smiled, sadly. "Fucking hell that was just a nightmare." I said as I rushed back to them, hugging both of them. "What... What's going on ?" Asriel said, I broke the hug with Chara and Frisk and quickly hugged Asriel. "Okayyyyy ? Good to see you too pal." Asriel said, hugging me back. "Y/N, what's happening ?" Chara asked, getting worried. I sighed as I gestured them to be alone, making Asriel go back to the living room.

"That was just a nightmare, N/N." Chara said, kissing me and hugging me, I told them about that nightmare. "No, I can feel it, it wasn't a nightmare." I said, earning the confused look from the sisters. "It was a branch on the timeline, it was a vision. I felt the pain, I felt every touch, felt the air smelling dusty." I continued. Chara and Frisk were looking a little stunned. "If I don't master that spiral, this would happen." I finished, I felt anger and hate, but not for them, for me. "I will kill everyone if I can't stop it." I said, starting crying. The mere thought of killing even one of them was making me sick. "And there I am, fearing it and fearing myself. All the time I told you not to worry about me. It was to lie to myself, to tell myself that I was alright. But I'm fucking not." I said, feeling tears falling. "My mind is falling apart, my thought are clouded by that spiral. I fucking tired of all of this." I said, I couldn't take it anymore. "I'm fucking sick and tired of all that, I just wish that it could end right here, right now. But no, it won't stop." I said, tightening my fists on my knees. "I'm becoming fucking insane by the day ! That dream was just the culmination of my fears who will become true !" I yelled. Each day I passed with them, I managed to keep that mask of mine, telling them that I was alright, I wasn't scared or anything. But I couldn't try and keep doing that. I needed to tell them, I needed to tell someone.
"Y/N, look at me." Chara sternly said, making my face look at her. Her face had everything for me, but I could only see her anger and concern for me. "I don't care if that was a astral message coming from another timeline, I don't care about how it could end up. I don't care about that Ancient Power you got. I only care about you. I care about your well-being, I care about your happiness. And I can't stand watching you slowly dying inside because you refuse to tell us your fears and worries. We're with you Y/N. I am your girlfriend, Frisk is your friend, Asirel too, Asgore and Toriel are here to help too. So please, talk to us." She said, her voice was serious, but I could only see the only tear falling on her cheek. "Chara is right Y/N." Frisk said, I could only look down in shame. But Chara forced me to look at Frisk. "We want to help you, we want your best, but we can't do it if you're closed on yourself. Tell us everything, and we'll do our best to help you." She said, smiling sadly at me. "I lived it too, the crushing fears, the realist nightmares. But I only get better when I talked about it with Chara. So please Y/N, let us help you, because we want too." Frisk said, ruffling my hears. I couldn't help but to cry more. Seeing that Chara and Frisk were genuinely caring about me and scared of my mental state. It could only help me. "Thank you." I said, bringing them both in a hug. I repeated 'thank you' quite a lot. It meant everything to me.
After some minutes, I was done crying and saying thank you, and I felt better, and this time it wasn't a lie, I truly felt better.
"I'm ... better now." I said, smiling. "Are you lying ?" Chara asked me seriously. "Not at all, I'm truly feeling better, feels like something got off of my brain and my heart." I said, kissing on the cheek Chara. "Finally, Y/N's smiling genuinely." Chara said to Frisk, Frisk smiled and nodded. "Feels like eternity since the last time I saw it." Frisk said. I smiled as their concern was warming my previously cold, fearing and not-so-sane mind. "Time to go downstairs don't you think ?" Chara asked me, and I nodded.

When we got downstairs, they all asked why they heard crying and yells, so I decided to talk about it all, since it helped me with Chara and Frisk, it couldn't hurt to try if I told them. When I finished to explain my state, Toriel just rushed to hug me, Asgore soon joined with Asriel, as Gaster, Sans, Chara and Frisk smiled with the view. The goat family told me that whenever I needed to talk, they were here for me, no matter what was the subject, and I felt happy. Genuine happiness. The Imposter Syndrome wasn't there anymore, I truly felt like I deserved to be there, I was meant to be there with them. It was ... really beautiful.
"Y/N, does that mean ?" Gaster asked, I shook my head. "It's still there, I feel it in the back of my head. But talking about all that, just died down the intensity of it by a lot." I said, Gaster smiled and reached his hand out, I smiled and I shook it happily. "Seems like you've got it under control." He said, smiling. "Yeah, I can't thank you all enough." I said, bowing to all of them. "No need to, Y/N. We would be terrible in-laws if we couldn't help you." Asgore said, causing Toriel to snicker a little. "In-laws, Chara and I aren't even married." I said, Chara was blushing as I said that. "But for now you are her boyfriend, it's not official, but we're your in-laws." Toriel said, smiling, I smiled too. "Well, I've got the best family in-law I could've dreamed of." I said, smiling. "And the best girlfriend too." I said, looking at Chara, who smiled warmly.

"It feels so fucking good to be able to feel normally again." I said, as I was cuddling with Chara. "I know what it feels like. And I'm genuinely happy that you're back to the more happy side of you." Chara said, I smiled as I was really happy. "Thanks to you, you've surely helped me a lot." I said, patting her head. "I'm glad I helped you, and I won't stop, trust me." She said, I could feel her smile. "I'll hold your words then." I said, yawning. "Time to get sleep, you deserved it." Chara said, now facing me. "Yeah, I'm greatly tired." I said, kissing her. "Good night Red, I love you." I said, I saw her smiling, it's been a long time since I didn't call her Red. "Good night N/N, I love you too." She said, I smiled to myself as I let myself drift off to sleep.
I finally got my feelings in check, it feels so fucking good.
