Chapter Twelve

Atid had hardly slept the entire night thinking about all the things that has been happening in his life. He woke up early and engaged himself in work to avoid any unwanted thoughts. But those innocent brown eyes kept haunting him. Finally he closed his laptop with a bang and decided to get drunk with his bestfriends. He called Mek and then added Chai to the call.

Chai: Whatsup bros.

Atid roles his eyes hearing Chai's cheerful and loud voice.

Atid: Meet me at Club Dragon in 20.

Chai: But..

Mek: We will be there.

Atid ends the call and starts getting ready. He wears a pair of black tight fitting pants and black shirt with its top three button open, showing off his chiseled body. Atid looks at himself with a smirk.

Atid: No one resist you my handsome boy.

Atid picks up his wallet and keys and exits the room.

Meanwhile at the other end of the town:

Aroon is nervously looking at himself in the mirror. He had selected a simple pair of jeans and tshirt to wear but Niran forced him to change. Now looking at himself in the mirror, he is not sure if it was a wise decision.

A whistle sound is heard behind him.

Niran: Oh my, my. You look hot and cute at the same time. I am sure guys are going to have a hard time keeping their hands away from you.

Aroon: Niiiiran

Niran: Let's go. We are going to be late.

Niran pulls Aroon out of the room. They say goodbye to his mom and sister and leave for the club.

Club Dragon:

Atid sat on the sofa facing the bar counter. He was nursing a drink in his hand while being lost in his thoughts.

"A penny for your thought"

Atid looks at Chai who is looking at him grinning like an idiot.

Atid: I was thinking of ways to kill an annoying friend.

Chai pouts while Mek chuckles seeing the interaction between the two friends. They both settle down on the adjacent couch facing Atid.

Mek: So, what's up Atid? How are you doing as the new CEO?

Atid frowns hearing Mek's question.

Atid: I wish the two months just gets over and I can handover the company back to Mr.Chanthara.

Mek: Why are you so irritated? I heard you are doing good and the investors are happy with the decision of making you the CEO.

Atid: I am just showing respect to my grandpa's decision. I just don't want to hear complaints from Mr. Narong Chanthara that I ruined his first born, his baby, Chanthara Technologies.

Mek: Atid, he is your father.

Atid: I really wish I could forget that.

Mek let's out a sigh looking at the frown on Atid's face.

Chai: Isn't that the guy who hit Atid the other night?

Mek looks in the direction Chai is looking and an unknown emotion passes through his heart on seeing the guy.

Chai: His cute friend is also there. He looks different today. He looks hot.

Atid looks ahead and his breath hitches seeing Aroon sitting at the bar with Niran. He looked ethereal in his black jeans, tshirt and red jacket. He looked hot but the glasses gave him some cuteness. Then his gaze falls on a tall guy approaching Aroon with a seductive smile. He sits next to him, tilts his head and looks at Aroon with a sly smile. Atid grips his glass tight as the scene unfolds before him. But what irks him most is Aroon smiling at the guy. Atid slams his glass on the table and start to get up but is stopped by a pair of slim white arms wound around his neck. He looks at the girl wearing a revealing short black dress, smiling at him seductively.

Girl: Hi Handsome.

Atid looks at her with an unreadable expression. He was about to take her hands off him but his eyes goes cold seeing the scene before him. The guy sitting next to Aroon had moved forward and placed his hand on Aroon thigh. Aroon did not stop him or move away from him. Atid clenches his jaw in anger and at that moment his eyes meet with Aroon's. He could see the surprised look on his face but he looked away immediately as if he didn't want to see him. Atid didn't know what was going through his mind at that time but the next moment he pulls the girl next to him and kisses her passionately. After what seems to be an eternity, he ends the kiss and looks at the girl who is clinging to his body like a koala. But what caught his attention is the pair of brown eyes looking at him with tears brimming in them. He wipes his tears roughly and runs away from there.

"Aroon"

Aroon's POV:

Aroon felt a bit awkward when a guy approached him with a smile. He knew what that smile meant but he was stunned when he felt the guy's hand on his thighs. He looks around in panic and he is a met with a pair of fierce eyes that least expected to see. Those looked more fierce than usual and Aroon looks away unable to stand the gaze. As the guy approaches him once again, he looks in Atid's direction but the scene before him took his breathe away. Atid was kissing a girl passionately while holding her tight in his arms. The girl was literally clinging to him like a koala and he seemed to be lost in the kiss. Aroon felt a tightening in his chest and his eyes stung because of unshed tears. He could no longer take it and ran out of the club avoiding his friend calling out his name.
