Mek: What the hell is this? How can you think of drawing such an absurd contract?

Atid just looks at him with a bored expression.

Chai: What's wrong Mek? Why are you so upset?

Mek: Just read this and you will know what this idiot is up to.

Chai takes the paper from Mek and reads it. As he reads through the paper, his eyes go wide in shock.

Chai: What the hell Atid? Do you hate him so much that you want him to suffer hell?

Atid: I gave him an option to walk out but he wanted to walk through hell with me. So I am giving him hell.

Mek: Now I really wish he walks out of this marriage. You really don't deserve to be alone.

Atid feels a pang in his heart hearing his friend's words but he does not show it on his face.

Chai: Mek

Mek: What? He deserves it for the jerk he is acting like now.

Atid: Well, I always knew that I am meant to be alone. You are the one who disagreed. Glad to hear that you agree with me now.

Mek felt sorry hearing those words but he did not apologize as he believed Atid deserved it.

Atid: Mr.Ananada will be here any time. I want you to sign as witness. Will you help or do I need to find someone else.

Mek: I will not..

Chai: We will be the witness.

Mek: But

Chai: Shhhhh...If others get involved, this contract will get out in public and that will effect his and company's reputation. Let's give this within us.

Mek reluctantly agrees. He then goes and sits in one corner away from Atid as he is still angry with him.

Ten minutes later they hear a knock on the door.

Atid: Come in

Aroon enters the room and looks at everyone with a smile.

Aroon: Goodmorning Mr.Atid, PMek, PChai.

Atid frowns hearing Atid address Mek and Chai as P while he still calls him so formally.

Mek: Goodmorning Aroon. How are you?

Aroon: I am fine P.

Mek: Good. Come sit here.

Aroon glances at Atid and then sits next to Mek.

Atid: If you are done with your greeting, can we start what we are here for?

Atid's sarcasm is not hidden from everyone in the room but all chose to ignore him. Atid feels irritated but he was not going to let his friends win. He quickly picks the contract and then puts it on the coffee table before Aroon.

Atid: Read it carefully and sign it if you still want to go through with the marriage.

Aroon picks up the paper and starts reading it carefully. He clenches the paper tight as he reads through the conditions set by Atid. He could feel his heart clench in pain but he does not show it on his face.

Atid's POV:

Atid watches Aroon reading the contract papers intensely. He hardly showed any emotions on his face as he went through the contract. Atid was surprised by this as he expected him to retaliate after reading the conditions.

"Can I get a pen please?"

Atid: Huh?

Aroon: I...I forgot to get a pen. I need one to sign the papers.
