Previous chapter:
Atid opens his eyes and looks at Aroon who is staring at him with a concerned expression.
Aroon: Does it hurt?
Atid does not say anything and just stares at the guy. A stray tear flows down the guy's eye.
Aroon: I am sorry. I am so sorry for hurting you.
The guy apologizes and runs away from there before Atid could say anything. The guy's friend who hit him once again looks at him in anger and then runs behind his friend.
.........................................................
Atid stood there unable to move or say anything. He kept staring at the door until he felt a finger roaming on his exposed chest. He looks beside him at the girl who is giving him a seductive smile. He slowly removes her hand from his body and just walks out of the club without uttering a word.
Chai: Did he just.....
Mek: Yes, Mr. Atid Chanthara rejected a girl.
Chai: Oh My God!!!!! How can our friend, the great casanova reject free s*x.
Mek: Let me go check on him.
Chai: I will come with you.
Mek: No, I don't think your stupid jokes will help in this situation. Sit tight and enjoy your drink. I will come back soon.
Chai: Hmm
Mek walks out of the club and searches for Atid. He finally finds him standing in a dark alley behind the club with a cigarette in his hand.
Mek: Atid
Atid looks at him but does not say anything. Mek goes and stands next to him without saying anything. Atid finally breaks the silence that was eating him.
Atid: I am a jerk.
Mek looks at him but does not say anything.
Atid: That guy, he.....it was just an accident but I pushed him down. His friend had all the right to hit me but he stopped him. He....he was concerned for me...concerned for a jerk who does not care for anyone.
Mek: Maybe he saw the real you inside the jerk you are pretending to be.
Atid looks at Mek and then starts laughing out loud.
Atid: The real me? Who is the real me, my friend? I am a jerk who breaks people's heart for fun. I am a heartless guy who does not believe in love and engage in one night stands. I am moro who hurts an innocent boy like him who has nothing but compassion for everyone. I am a true definition for a jerk.
Mek places a hand on Atid's should as he shouts out in frustration.
Mek: Don't be so hard on yourself Atid. You are not a bad person. You too deserved to be loved by someone.
Atid shrugs and takes a puff from his cigarette.
Atid: I wish I had said sorry to him for being a jerk.
Mek: Do you want me to find his details.
Atid: NO
Mek looks at Atid in shock as he shouts at him.
Atid: I..I don't want him to meet a jerk like me ever again. I just wish him to always be as kind hearted as he was to me.
Atid crushes the cigarette bud under his shoes and then walks towards his car.
Atid: I am going back to my condo. I will meet you guys later.
Mek: Hmm
Atid gets into his car and drives away from there while Mek stands there looking at the car moving further away.
Mek: I wish a kind hearted person like him comes into your life and fill it with love and care my friend. I really wish he can bring back the lost happiness in your life.
Unknown to him, a shooting star falls from the sky as he wishes for his friend's happiness. Will his wish come true or Atid will push away all the happiness that comes his way?
Meanwhile, in another part of the town, two boys are sitting in a cafe, sipping hot coffee. One of them is fuming in anger while the other one is drinking his coffee with his head bend down.
"Why the hell did you stop me from teaching that jerk a lesson? I would have beaten him to pulp for hurting you."
Aroon: And then what? Will you go and spend your night in jail for assault?
Niran: But he hurt you.
Aroon: He didn't mean to. He didn't push me hard. I just lost my balance and fell.
Niran: Aroon
Aroon: He is already suffering Niran.
Niran: How do you know? Do you know him before?
Aroon: I...I just know. I can see the emptiness in his eyes. He....
Niran: You are too naive Aroon. You just believe that everyone around you are innocent like you.
Aroon does not say anything and just drinks his coffee.
Niran: He is a rich, spoilt brat who does not care for others feeling. If I see him again, I will teach him a lesson.
Aroon: No, you will not hurt him.
Niran: But
Aroon: Promise me you won't hurt him.
Niran does not say anything and looks at him with a scowl.
Aroon: Niran, please...
Niran: Ok, I promise, I will not hurt that moron unless he does something to provoke me.
Aroon: Niran...
Niran: That's all I can do for you.
Niran sits there drinking his coffee with a frown on his face.
Aroon(in mind): How can I tell you about the pain I felt in his voice when he spoke about his loveless childhood. He is just an innocent child trying to act like a jerk to hide his pain. I wish he finds someone who can take away all his pain and love him unconditionally.
As Aroon wishes for Atid's happiness a shooting star passes through the sky.
