*At the Herrera - Sullivan Household*

Frozen had just finished on the TV and Savannah had fallen asleep with her head in her dad's lap cuddled underneath her favourite blanket. She had started to run a small temperature again so having a nap was definitely what she needed. Robert was softly stroking her hair whilst pulling out his book to read with his other hand, but was disturbed by the doorbell going off.

Quietly and as carefully as he could he slid out from underneath Savannah without waking her, tucked her in on the sofa and went to answer the door.

"Where's my favourite princess?" Said Luke as Robert opened the door.

"Shhhhh. Nice to see you too buddy" Robert chuckled. "She's just fallen asleep so keep your voice down."

"Ah ok, Ands said she wasn't feeling great so I thought a visit from Uncle Luke might help"

"Thanks man, come on in we can hang out on the patio until she wakes up... wait, why were you at the station?" He asked inquisitively as they made their way through the house and out on to the back patio.

"I came to find you, I need to run something by you and soon! You got any beers?" Luke whispered looking around and playing with his hands.

"Who's the girl Luke?"

"Who said anything about a girl?!" He whisper yelled as they passed by Savannah.

"I've known you a long time now, you have the same tells as you've always had when wrapped up with bloody girl drama. You've asked for a beer and it's what? *looks at his watch* 10 in the morning? You even stopped by the station instead of waiting till I had a day off so it's clearly important!" Luke looked dumbfounded by his best friend's shocking accuracy. Robert looked straight at him, nodded and said, "I'll ask again, who's the girl?"

They made their way outside, Luke hung is head holding the bottle of root-beer Robert had gotten him as a slightly more reasonable beverage option for 10 in the morning. He was contemplating how he would talk to Robert about this without blowing anything too far out of proportion.

"You really can still read me like a book." He said, stalling.

"Come on... spill the beans..."

"I think I messed up Sully. I've done a you and... a you and Ands" he muttered, running his hand through his hair nervously. "Although instead of just one rank in difference like you two.... there's...3"

"So it's a firefighter... at which station?" Robert enquired.

"Umm... 19..." he mumbled through a long pause.

"19?!"

Luke nodded, looking at the floor.

"Well it's not Ands?" Robert questioned, looking quickly at Luke for confirmation, half joking but also just needing to hear that it wasn't her and this wasn't his best friend coming to declare a torrid affair.

"Of course it's not Ands, come on man I'm not a monster and she would never...!"

"I know, I know, just trying to rack my brains as to who it could be! It's definitely not Andy, It can't be Maya as I'm pretty sure she swings the other way if you know what I mean?... which leaves only.. Hughes?" He looked straight at Luke, "It's Hughes!? As in Victoria Hughes my wife's best friend?!" Robert asked, increasing in volume at each point of his realisation.

At first Luke just nodded slowly, but then verbally erupted when trying to explain to Sully what was going on. "She's unlike anyone I've ever known! She's funny, she's sweet...badass and bloody beautiful! I've never felt this way before Sully, not ever. It's like you and Ands... a forever kind of love, I cannot get enough of her! She's intoxicating"
