*On the way to the station*

Andy had been quiet in the car, ever since Robert received a text from Luke... He had intended for only Robert to read it, just for a heads up, as he knew Andy wouldn't be in the headspace for more bad news. Unfortunately, Robert's phone was automatically linked to the cars media system so Andy saw the message too.

Text Message

Lucas: Hey Man, hope you're on your way and that all is good with little man. Don't come running straight into your office when you get here, Vic and Vannah are fast asleep in your bunk.

Also.. I don't want to alarm you, but.. her nightmares are back, she's not been in a good way. Just prepare yourself, I thought you might want a heads up.

After reading the text, Andy started feeling numb again. She started to stare out the window, only just keeping her tears at bay. Her leg was shaking like a leaf and she was starting to bite her nails, or at least, what was left of them. It'd been a very anxious 48 hours.

Robert looked over at her and felt helpless. He was driving and the only way he could help her was by pulling over and giving her a hug. But, he knew they both needed to get to their daughter as quickly as possible and that she wouldn't take well to him intentionally delaying their journey. Instead, he took hold of one of her hands and placed it gently on her thigh so he could put his hand over hers. He was trying to stop her from shaking and just provide a calm presence.

"She shouldn't be having this many nightmares, Robert. It's not healthy. Why should a 5 year old be dreaming of death and fire and guns and what I assume to be baby boys dying? Why? She's been through so much this year, we've been through so much this year and look at how mentally drained we are! Imagine being 5 and not being able to make sense of the world. I'm so sad for her Robert. I'm sad, angry, infuriated, let down and just generally pissed! What did our girl ever do to be dealt a hand like this?" She questioned him, letting all of her frustration and confusion out.

"Baby, I know. I know how unfair it is, how cruel the world can be. I don't know why our poor little girl has had to go through it all, I really don't. Or, our little boys for that matter. All I know is that we are here, we aren't going anywhere, and we will get through this. I promise. We're nearly there so we can talk to her and try to help her understand that Grayson is ok. I think once she sees him outside of the hospital being his normal little self, she will feel better."

"Yeah, I hope so. I really think that in the new year, we should get Dr. Lewis to have a few sessions with her. Or at the very least, ask her if she knows any children's psychologists for traumatic events. I think it would be good for her."

"We will do that, definitely. At least she's sleeping now, he's finally getting some much needed rest too, I just hope he transfers from the car to my bunk."

"I'm sure he will, or if he doesn't, there's nothing a little boob won't fix." Andy shot a very brief smile in his direction.

"Now that, I can wholeheartedly agree with." He brought her hand up to his lips for a quick kiss and gave her a warm smile that ended with a soft chuckle. He wasn't trying to change subjects he just wanted to distract his wife from her thoughts.

Grayson, as everyone knows, hates to be woken or disturbed when he's trying to sleep... So he didn't take kindly to being moved around. Robert carried him as they both went slowly upstairs to his office, nodding at everyone he saw as a quiet 'hello' on the way. He was trying to keep him sucking on his pacifier but he was getting more and more agitated. Andy wanted him to stay asleep so she could focus on Savannah, and so he could get a decent amount of rest, but he wasn't having any of it, and she was still asleep with Vic anyway.
