Chapter 20

The 12hr stint for A shift was coming to an end, there were only 5 minutes left so everyone was in the locker room changing back in to their own clothes and waiting for the clock to strike 5pm. Vic was visibly giddy and it was only Andy who knew why. In just 15 short minutes Vic would be meeting Savannah, Enzo and Grayson at the park and she couldn't wait. Andy and Vic were going to head straight there and Robert was going to bring the children to meet them, picking Luke up on the way.

*At the Herrera-Sullivan Household*

Savannah was bouncing off the walls. She was so excited to be seeing Uncle Luke for the first time in what seemed like forever and meeting her new Auntie Vic.

"Vannah, can you remember what Mummy and I told you about Uncle Luke?" Robert asked her as she was putting her rainbow sparkle shoes on.

"That I can't jump on him or squeeze him too hard because he's still a bit poorly." She replied.

"Good girl, and can you remember what Uncle Luke's girlfriend is called?"

"Of course Daddy, I'm not that silly! It's Vic!"

"You are my smart little cookie after all. Do you know what Vic is short for?" He enquired.

"Short for?" She looked puzzled.

"Yes baby, like when we call you Vannah but your full name is Savannah?"

"Oh yes I know, ummm no I don't think so Daddy. What is Vic short for?"

"Victoria!"

"But wait that's my name? Savannah Victoria Herrera - Sullivan." She stated.

"That's right that is your name. And you, are named, after Auntie Victoria."

"Oh I'm definitely going to tell her that! I need to give her my drawing too, we can't forget it!" She yelled, putting her jacket on now.

"I know baby we won't, I've already packed it in the diaper bag. Now come on, let's get you and the boys in the car. We've got to pick up Uncle Luke on the way!"

"Really?! He's coming with us?!"

"Of course, Auntie Vic is still at work with Mummy so she can't take him and he's still not well enough to drive."

"I miss Mummy." Savannah said, suddenly sounding quite sad.

"Can I let you in on a little secret?" Robert asked her.

"Yes..."

"I miss Mummy too. But, we're both off for 2 whole days together now! So we'll get to see Mummy lots!"

"Yay! Come on Daddy hurry up, we're going to be late!" She yelled as she sat in her car seat waiting to be buckled.

"Hold your horses I'm coming, I'm coming!" He replied, running round to her side of the car after finishing with Grayson.

*At the Park*

Robert, Luke and the kids made it to the park first, they were sat on the picnic bench, each of the guys on either side holding a baby with Savannah sat next to Luke. She was asking Luke question after question about where he had been and why he was so poorly.

"I wanted to give you our special bear hug but Mummy and Daddy said I wasn't allowed." She said, sadness in her voice.

"Oh did they now, well, I reckon you could give me the biggest bear hug ever and it wouldn't hurt. Wanna try?" Luke replied.

Her eyes lit up and she practically jumped on him, wrapping her arms around his neck and he winced slightly in pain.

"Savannah! Take it easy, what did I say?" Robert said, raising his voice slightly.
