Chapter 23

It had been a couple of weeks since the Herrera - Sullivan's went to the cemetery. Thankfully, Savannah hadn't had anymore nightmares and it had been a relatively normal few weeks. Everything was running smoothly with work, school and daycare, Savannah had her first sleepover with Auntie Vic at Luke's house and the boys were starting to pull themselves up on furniture around the house which gave everyone a giggle.

"I love you." Robert said as he was staring at his wife drinking her coffee, leaning on the kitchen island. He was sat on the sofa putting the boys' shoes on.

Andy smiled and put her coffee down. "Thanks baby, I love you too. What was that for?" She enquired.

"I'm just thinking about how bloody gorgeous you are and how lucky I am to have you, and our perfect little family, that's all." He smiled softly at her.

"Well, you just might have earned yourself a treat tonight." She said, slowly and seductively as she walked towards Robert and leaned over the back of the sofa. "If these gorgeous boys weren't right... here..." She said in between kisses, "you'd be getting it right... now..."

"I'm pretty sure they're off to daycare in about 30 seconds.." He eagerly stated, pulling Andy in to a longer kiss.

She pushed off his shoulders before they get too carried away. "And I'm pretty sure that's followed by a certain Captain and Battalion Chief going to work... Although I'd love nothing more, I promise."

Before he could argue back, she turned and shouted up the stairs. "Savannah Sullivan it's time to go!"

"Oof, using our kids as a weapon are you?" He teased.

"Oh you know it baby! Come on, let's go Sexy Sully." She chuckled as she lightly slapped his bald head.

"Mummy, do I go to the museum today with Grace and Ellie?" Savannah asked.

"No Princess your school trip is tomorrow. Just a normal day today! Molly will pick you up from school today and Daddy will be home to make you dinner and read you a bedtime story, Ok?"

"Do you have to stay at work all night Mummy?"

"I do, I'm sorry Mija I'll see you tomorrow after your school trip. I tell you what though, ask Daddy to call me tonight when he's reading you your story and if I'm not on a call I will listen with you. Deal?"

"Deal! Daddy, did you hear that?!" She yelled out the front door to Robert putting the boys in the car.

"Yes I did! Come on, grab your bag, let's get you to school! Andy, I'll take all 3 of them today or you'll be late."

"I'm coming, I'm coming! Are you sure?"

"Of course! See you later!"

Andy ran to each side of the car and gave a kiss to all three kids before running back to her car. "Bye my loves, have a great day! I love you."

"Love you Mummy, bye!"

Robert dropped the twins off first and then Savannah before heading to the station. He took the stairs two at a time to his office whilst Andy was completing line up with the team. He loved listening to his wife when she was laying down authority, he found it equally as impressive as he did sexy and it always put him in a good mood to start his day.

"Bishop, Montgomery, AID car, Warren, Miller and I, engine, Hughes and Gibson that leaves you on the ladder. B shift have left the station in a bit of a mess, something I'll be talking to them about later, so we'll be having a cleaning party today! I have a lot of paperwork to catch up on, if anyone needs me i'll be in my office.... Dismissed!" She yelled.
