Seeing as you couldn't all wait till the end of the week...Here's a long-ish one for you all!

Andy wanted to remain silent and just stare out the window, but she knew she needed to pull herself together and captain the team.

"Okay, 19 listen up! We've got a 5 story building, the top 3 floors are currently on fire, 2 civilians trapped inside, one of those is Chief Ripley's niece. 88 are currently on search and rescue so we're going to join 23 and 42 on fire attack. Sullivan will take charge as incident command. Does everybody copy?"

"Copy Cap!" They all replied.

The horns sounded, indicating they'd arrived and they all jumped out and headed towards Sullivan for orders.

"Captain! Update?" Sullivan asked the captain of 88, 19 standing close by to listen.

"Chief, we've got 88 and Chief Ripley on search and rescue, only 2 civilians left inside, 2 5 year olds who still haven't been found. Ripley said one of them was his niece." Sullivan's heart sank a little further, hoping they'd have been out by now. "23 are attacking from the Bravo side and 42 are on horizontal ventilation on each floor on the Charlie side."

"Great, thank you, 19! Listen up, Bishop, Gibson and Montgomery, get the ladder in place and ventilate that roof! Hughes, Miller, fire attack on the Alpha side! Everybody mask up, there's unknown potential chemicals at play!"

"Copy chief!"

Robert walked over to where Andy stood, she hadn't even realised because she was just staring at the top floor, watching the thick smoke billow out.

"Herrera." He started, but she hadn't heard him. "Herrera," he said a little louder but still she gave no reaction. "Andy," he tried, and gently touched her arm. She flinched and looked up at him, tears filled her eyes underneath her mask. "Andy, she's going to be ok."

"You don't know that! She's been up there for so long now, look at the colour of that smoke, it's turning toxic inside and the building's going to be too unstable in a matter of minutes. I've got to go in and find her." She rambled.

"No, you can't think rationally and you could get yourself hurt. Ripley is in there looking for her."

"I don't care, maybe he's not looking in the right place. It's been too long, I have to go in." Andy blurted out, getting ready to enter the building.

"Andy, please don't make me pull rank. Be sensible, what good are you to her if you go in there and get yourself hurt. What about the boys? What about me? We all need you, we need you alive and well. I'm begging you, to please, stand, down, let Luke get her. Please."

She pulled away from him and went to stand by the engine, Robert thought to himself that he'd rather her be angry at him and safe, than running head first into the building, so he took it as a good sign and went back to commanding the scene and asking for updates. Andy turned her radio to all channels so she could hear each team's communications.

*Radio*

Herrera: "Chief Ripley, this is Captain Herrera, Any update on the two girls?" She tried to say without showing too much emotion.

Ripley: "Negative, Herrera, we've cleared floors 1-4. Checking the top floor now."

Herrera: "Copy Chief, AID cars on standby!"

*Inside the building*

"Williams, this way, stay low! The smoke is getting thick and heavy!" Luke shouted to Michael.

"Copy Chief, visibility is seriously low." He muttered.

They covered what seemed like every inch of the open floor, not finding anyone or anything in their line of sight.
