Things were finally starting to feel normal at the Herrera - Sullivan household. Savannah was no longer sick so she was fully back at school and the boys were going to daycare most days a week. Captain Herrera and Batt. Chief Sullivan were both heading in to the station today so Molly, their nanny would pick the kids up after school and take them home. Robert rarely worked overnights at the station now, so he would head back at about 6pm to put the kids to bed. Today was going to be the joint training session with 88, as well as the day Andy would tell Vic about Robert and their children. Needless to say, her mind was going at 10 to the dozen and she was lost in a world of her own.

"Babe, have you seen Vannah's school shoes?!" Robert yelled from downstairs.

No response..

"Andy?!" He tried again.

"Andrea!" He began running up the stairs. "Have you seen Vannah's.." But he stopped yelling when he turned the corner to their room and saw her sat on the bed staring out the window a million miles away. He walked slowly over to her so as not to startle her, crouched down in front of her gently rubbing her thighs.

"Baby?" He asked.

Andy snapped out of her thoughts, not knowing how Robert got so close to her without her realising.

"Are you ok?" He continued.

"Huh? Hmm? Yeah, all good" she stuttered, beginning to stand up.

"Everything will be ok, I promise. One step at a time."

"I know, sorry, I just zoned out. Is everything alright? Did you need me?" She asked, quickly trying to change the subject.

"I just can't find Vannah's school shoes. Have you seen them?

"Oh yeah, they're in the boys' room. Enzo wanted to take them to bed last night." She shrugged her shoulders and chuckled, remembering the events of the night before.

"Of course they are" he replied, laughing at his son's former actions. "Come on, we're going to be late if we don't get a move on."

"I know, I'm ready, let's go!" She exclaimed, heading downstairs to put the kids in the car. "I'll take the boys and you take Vannah. See you at the station baby, I love you."

"See you at the station!" He shouted as she more or less flew out the door. "I love you too!"

For the first time in a long while the boys had a hard time at daycare drop off. Normally they would go straight to the staff with smiles and giggles as their parents left. Today, however, they cried and clung to Andy as she tried to pass them over. This broke her heart on an already stressful day, but she didn't have any other options, so she kissed them both on the cheeks, placed them on the floor, whispered "Mummy loves you" and left, the staff reassuring her that they would be fine in a minute.
She practically ran back to the car, slammed the door shut and broke down. Silent tears streaming down her face as she tried to control herself, taking her frustration out on the steering wheel. "What if everything is ruined when I tell Vic? Surely it won't be, she loves me.. right? Why were the boys so clingy? Are they coming down with something? Or maybe they just picked up on my stress. Oh no what If Vannah did too, was she ok at drop off with Robert?" She thought, sending herself in to a downwards spiral. But just as she began to let the tears fall again her cellphone started ringing, pulling her back to reality. She looked down at her phone and saw Robert's name.

*Phone call*

Robert: "Andy? Where are you?"

She sniffled and tried to pretend everything was ok before answering, after all, this man could read her like an open book.
