Savannah, as expected, had woken several times in the night with nightmares about the fire. She was very vocal so Andy and Robert were easily woken. Robert always brought her right in to his chest so she could feel his soothing heartbeat, sending her straight back to sleep. Between her nightmares and the boys waking up to feed, both parents had had a difficult night, Andy slightly more so, but both getting very little sleep. They were both working today and Andy had spent the majority of her awake periods thinking about how the day was going to turn out with Savannah coming to the station. With her daughter and husband finally sound asleep next to her, she reached for her phone and text Chief Ripley.

Andy: "Luke, first of all, Thank you so much to you and Vic for having the boys yesterday. Lifesavers. Second of all... Dr. Lewis has suggested bringing Vannah with us to the station for the next couple of weeks until her nightmares stop and she stops seeing fire where there isn't any. We're going to trial it today and ask her how she feels about meeting the team.. The boys have daycare so at least they're sorted, Molly is coming here beforehand because it's an early start. We could really use you if you're able to pop down? Uncle Luke always fixes everything. Is that ok?"

Luke: "Morning Ands, oh don't be silly. Anytime, we've got your back and you know that. Oh you've spoken to Diane? I was going to suggest that myself. Of course I'll be there, in fact, I'll set up in Robert's office and command from there for a few weeks, that way if he has to go somewhere and you're on a call I can take Savannah. Vic and I will trade off, we'll make it work. Are you worried about the team?"

Andy: "Luke that's too much to ask! You can't do that just on our account. Yeah, Robert called her yesterday because she wouldn't eat and whenever she fell asleep she'd wake up screaming, he wasn't really sure what else he could do... Uhmm I am slightly worried about the team, I know it will have hurt them and I just don't want it to be bitter especially if Vannah is with us you know?"

Luke: "You didn't ask, and nothing is ever too much trouble when it comes to my family. Uncle Luke will be there to fix the boo boos. Don't worry about the team, they love you and they'll understand. What time are you heading in? I'll make sure I'm there so I can watch her whilst you guys talk to them ok?"

Andy: "We love you Luke, thank you. Probably aim to be there for 6:45 so we can show her around before anyone gets there... Yeah, that'll probably be best. We'll see you soon."

Luke: "Perfect, see you all soon."

Andy leaned over her daughter to kiss her husband on his perfectly smooth head. "Baby, wake up. Gotta get ready for work."

"Mhmm 2 more minutes." He groaned.

Robert was normally the first one up and he never dosed back off... That gave a great indication of how their night had gone and how tired they both still were.

Andy softly brushed the hair out of her daughter's face, whispering "It's time to get up, Princess. The sky's waking up."

Savannah opened her eyes and after quickly scanning for danger, she smiled at her Mum and let out a big stretch, accidentally punching her dad in the face. This then woke Robert again, "Ok, I'm up, I'm up."

Andy let out a little chuckle and then went to get some clothes for Savannah and check on the boys. They were still sound asleep and they had to leave in half an hour so when she'd given Savannah her clothes to put on she sat down and pumped so she could leave milk for them. Savannah had a pretty autumn dress on because it was the only thing she currently had that would fit over her cast. Andy made a mental note that she needed to go and buy her some baggy joggers after work.
