{Chapter 34}
After the work day was over, Emily walked over to Daisy and Melinda.
"Hey, you guys up to joining us at the club?" Emily asked
Daisy gestured to her baby bump and Melinda shook her head.
"No, uh, Daisy and I are going to have dinner with Aaron and Jack."
A arm wrapped around Melinda's waist and kissed her cheek.
"That means, y'all are going to have to go find more club buddies." Aaron told them with a smirk.
The team smiled at the way Melinda had blushed a little at the kiss on her cheek. She wasn't one to blush at things like that, but with him it was different. Penelope came out of her dungeon, as what she calls her office, and noticed how close Aaron and Melinda were.
She gasped, "Are you guys official now?"
Aaron nodded before kissing Melinda's head making her blush again. Penelope gasped and clapped as everyone cheered or smiled.
"We should get going." Aaron tells the two women in his life
Daisy gave Spencer a kiss on the lips before making her way to follow her mother and her father figure.
Novice Agent
The three and Jack sat at a table in a restaurant talking. Melinda and Daisy had gotten all dressed up for this at Aaron's house when they went to get Jack. Aaron had a hand in Melinda's as Jack and Daisy talked. Melinda took a sip of her wine when she heard Jack ask Aaron something.
"Daddy, are you and Ms. May finally together?" Jack asked his father with curiosity
Daisy smirked as she was the one who gave him the idea to ask. Melinda gave her a sarcastic thankful look as Aaron held their clasped hands up.
"Yeah, Jack. Melinda and I are together. I- We was going to tell you after dinner."
Jack smiled and clapped, glad that his father was with her now. Aaron rubbed his thumb over Melinda's hand as he knew she was worried about Jack's feelings about them being together. He dropped their hands back onto his lap and leaned towards her ear.
"See? Everything turned out fine, Lindy."
Melinda smiled lightly when he kissed her temple making her look down at her lap. Aaron grinned before they all continued to eat their food. Once dinner was done, they all decided to take a walk. Daisy held Jack's hand as Aaron held Melinda's.
