The team arrived in Oregon and made their way to the vans to head to the station. Daisy looked at her mother as she remembered something on the plane. Aaron, Emily, and Spencer were in the car and Daisy began a conversation with her mom. "Wǒ kànjiànle." Daisy tells her with a smirk and Melinda looked at her confused, "Kàn dàole shénme?" Daisy gestured to what happened on the plane, "Nǐ hé huò qí. Tā zhēn kě'ài." Melinda rolled her eyes and looked out the window. Spencer smirked to himself as he knew what they were talking about as Aaron and Emily didn't. "Can you speak English please?" Emily asks as Aaron looked at the duo with curiosity, "What did you all even say?" Melinda and Daisy looked at each other and smirked. Spencer thought it would be time to reveal that he knows what they said. "Wǒ yě zhème rènwéi!" Spencer tells them with a grin on his face. The mother and daughter looked at him with shock that he knew Chinese. Daisy had her mouth wide opened as Melinda looked at him with amusement, "You know Chinese?" Spencer shrugged, "Took me a while to learn but I managed to understand." She nodded in understanding before she looked out the window again. Aaron looked next to him at Daisy with curiosity about what she asked earlier, "Daisy, I want to know, why did you want your mother to get a chance in the field?" Daisy looked at her mother as she wasn't paying attention to anything, except outside the window. She remembered when she first found out about SHIELD and how she wanted to be apart of it. "Mom was the reason why I wanted to be a SHIELD agent and a field agent. I was introduced to it when our boss Phil Coulson came to visit when I was 13. Mom told me to go to my room so they can talk and being the stubborn person I am, I didn't listen. I listened to the conversation and heard about all of the missions she went on when I was a kid. I didn't think much of it until I came to a SHIELD seminar where I was introduced to everything. I then became a SHIELD agent with mom's blessing of course and I realized what she was doing her whole life to keep me safe. I want her to be in the field so she, and I, can feel that again." Daisy explains to him. Aaron, Emily, and Spencer all seemed shocked at what they were told. They didn't know about how Daisy became a SHIELD agent and a field agent. Melinda looked up at her daughter who seemed to be exposing their whole life story to people they haven't met before until they started working for the BAU. "I had warned you that what you were going to go through was going to happen. You didn't believe me until you actually became apart of the organization." Melinda told her as she moved a strand of her hair out of her face as they soon had arrived at the station and got out. Emily turned to the mother next to her with a curious look on her face, "I just have to ask how did you join SHIELD?" Melinda began to think about when she joined SHIELD, because she's been with the organization since she was 17. She sat up in her seat to be comfortable, so she can tell them the story of how she became a SHIELD agent, "My Mom was a SHIELD agent and she wanted me to become one. I enjoyed being trained to do all the stuff that I do that I actually became one." The other half of the team joined up to them and listened to the story. Derek looked at her with a skeptical look, "That's it?" Aaron scolded him like he was a child, "Morgan." Daisy turned to Spencer with a knowing look, "Míngbáile ma?" Spencer chuckled to himself and nodded his head as he nibbled on his fingernail. Melinda looked at her daughter with a 'cool it' expression making her listen. "I didn't mean anything offensive by it! I just thought there would be more interesting things being told. I know nothing about her and neither do any of you, except Daisy. How do we know if we can trust her or not?" Derek rants to Aaron. Aaron was getting mad at what he was saying about the woman behind him, and turned to him with a stern expression. Daisy pulled her mom back to stand next to her to make sure if a fight breaks loose she won't get hurt. Melinda didn't know why but she felt like she had to cut in if something were to go wrong. "I know having Daisy and Melinda here is new because we like how things originally were, I get that, but they are here and hopefully to stay. You are going to have to deal with them for as long as they are here. Melinda may is probably not going to tell you everything because of the way you act towards her. You always have to ask her questions that are not appropriate especially about their lives. I expect you to change that, am I understood?" Aaron asks sternly and Derek nodded at the ground like a toddler just getting in trouble. Melinda finally pulled out of Daisy's grasp and walked over to Aaron. She gripped his forearm and dragged him away from the others and looked at him with a stern look. He looked at her confused at what she is doing before letting her talk, "Why did you do that?" He pulled his arm out of her harsh grip and looked at her with a genuine look, "I care about your feelings and how you want to do things. If you want things kept from the team then that's how it will be until you want to tell us. Like how your note said, you can text or call whenever." That's when he saw a genuine smile appear on her face making him return it. They then made their way back to the others and walked inside the station.
