{Chapter 57}
Aaron could feel the effects of the snake bite which was making him worry. He was sweating, nauseous, lightheaded, tired, and had no appetite. He could tell that the team were concerned about him as he was behind them holding onto David. He was feeling weaker and weaker as they walked trying to find the two women.
"You ok?" David whispered
Aaron shook his head, "To be honest, no."
"Do you know why you feel this way?" David asked
Aaron shook his head again, even though he did know why. David sighed and went to ask something when the two women they were looking for arrived in front of them. Spencer ran to his fiancé and hugged her tight, while Melinda leaned against a tree in pain. Aaron walked over to his girlfriend and hugged her just as tight as she groaned in pain.
"You ok?" Spencer asked Daisy
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Are you ok?" Daisy asked
Spencer nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine."
Daisy sighed in relief before hugging him tightly before hugging everyone else. Melinda had her head on Aaron's shoulder only to feel how hot he was. She brought her head off his shoulder and felt his forehead.
"Are you sick? You feel really hot." Melinda asked
Aaron shook his head, "I'm fine."
Melinda looked him over to see if he was lying, but paid attention to the situation at hand. Aaron wrapped an arm around her waist as he nuzzled into her neck. He kissed it before he lead her towards where they plan to camp out together. He sat down and she groaned in pain as she dropped to the ground. Aaron grabbed his suit jacket and wrapped it around her knee to keep it from bleeding.
"How did this happen?" Aaron asked
"There was a tree branch going through my knee, I think it's broken. Daisy pulled it out." Melinda explained
Aaron nodded as he tied the jacket around her leg before he felt dizzy. He brought a hand to his head, while Melinda and Daisy looked at him with concern.
"Dad, you ok?" Daisy asked
He nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine. I just felt dizzy."
He was scared to tell the two women in his life what happened. He didn't want to scare them or anything but he didn't know what's to happen with the snake bite. Aaron stood up then turned to his girlfriend to help her stand. She groaned as she was stood up right before they all began to talk about everything.
