{Chapter 40}
Daisy was in her closet of her house looking for a dress for the dinner her and Spencer had planned. Spencer was in the room with Charlotte on his lap as he was texting or calling the team to inform them of what they had planned. He didn't mention anything about the engagement all he mentioned was a welcome back party for Aaron. Daisy pulled out a dress from her closet and smiled as she held it in front of her fiancé.
"S, does this look ok for tonight?" Daisy asked
Spencer looked up from his phone to the dress and his eyes widened at how gorgeous the dress was. He smiled at his fiancée as he stood up to walk towards her.
"You'll look amazing in anything you pick out, D. Also, I can fight." Spencer tells her
It was a down low thing but Melinda and Spencer would train together. He wanted to be able to protect himself and his family without risks of being attacked. She agreed after explaining the rules and tips immediately, after that he was immediately gaining muscle, but he covered it with his sweaters. Daisy was the only one who knew about it, so she didn't have a issue with it at all. Daisy smiled at him, before walking over to kiss him. Spencer immediately kissed back as he cupped her face. They eventually pulled away when Spencer's phone goes off.
"Who's that?" Daisy asked
"Rossi. Said he tried to call Hotch, but he didn't answer." Spencer told her
Daisy looked at him as she handed the dresses she dropped on the floor. She didn't mean to do that, but she was trying to see what dresses she has.
"Did he try talking to mom?" Daisy asked
Spencer texted what his fiancée told him and waited for his co-worker to answer. Charlotte grabbed his pinkie finger and gripped it so he couldn't let go. Spencer smiled at her and kissed her head, while Daisy smiled as she watched. His phone rang saying that David answered making him look at what he said.
"He said your mom didn't answer either." Spencer tells her
"Do you think they did it?" Daisy asked with a smirk
Spencer shook his head, "Not with how tired she was when we landed."
Daisy nodded agreeing with him as she pressed her dress to the front of her as she looked in the mirror. Spencer stood up, laying Charlotte in the center of the bed so she can't fall off, and stood behind his fiancée placing his hands on her hips. He kissed her neck repeatedly for a couple seconds before laying his head on her shoulder.
