Chike was the one to open the door and he let out a sigh of relief when he found Azu at the door not Aria. He held the door open so his friend could walk in."Why are you here?" Kachi frowned as Azu strolled in, Chike behind him.
"Ada asked me to drop by and check on you. What's going on? You weren't able to end it with Rose?"
"Oh he was," Chike replied, taking a sit beside Azu. "But he messed up with Aria and Oga refused to accept he was wrong o."
"Wrong?" Kachi who had returned to his sit abruptly stood up and began to pace. "I didn't do anything."
The other two men exchanged glances before Azu asked. "What's going on?"
Chike went on to tell him about everything, starting from the party Rose's family threw to the pictures and then to Aria finding out. When he added the part about Aria coming, Azu's brows lifted in surprise.
"Surely, you know you're being childish. I can't believe you're fixating on how she found out about Rose instead of trying to fix this mess." Azu sighed as they watched the man continue to pace.
"I told him," Chike intoned. The doorbell rang again and this time, they were sure it was Aria. Kachi marched to the door but Chike beat him to it, spreading his arms out to block him from opening the door. The look Kachi gave him then was so cold but Chike stood his ground and Azu came to stand beside him.
"What is this? She's outside and I need to speak with her."
"Speak to her about what?" Azu asked.
Kachi glared at them. "About why she was keeping tabs on me."
Chike slapped his head in frustration. "That can't be your focus guy. I know women and asking her that would only dig your grave, especially now when she thinks you've been cheating on her."
"I'm sure she's upset and you are too. That's a very bad combination. Just go back, sit and relax in the dining room while we talk to her and try to pacify her," Chike advised.
It took Kachi a few seconds before he reluctantly turned away and Chike opened the door, hoping and praying his stupid friend didn't fuck this up. Kachi had a tendency to stop thinking rationally when he was mad. And although he'd tried everything to make him calm down, none of it seemed to have worked. He could almost foresee what would happen and he knew his friend would regret it if he jeopardized his relationship because of his misplaced anger.

Aria had forced Pete to go. The man had been worried about her confronting Kachi, stating that Kachi had a violent tendency and he didn't want things to get out of hand. She had persuaded him to go because no matter how hurt and angry she was, she knew for a certain that Kachi wouldn't hurt her, not physically at least.
She knocked on the double doors and waited, remembering the few times she'd been here and blushing a little when she remembered how much sex they'd had in here. She also smiled when she remembered how they'd played Mortal Kombat months ago. She caught herself immediately. Why was she smiling? This same man had deceived her and cheated on her. Right now, he was engaged to someone else.
Chike pulled the door open and she felt immense relief at the thought of not seeing Kachi immediately. She feared she'd immediately break and burst into tears. That relief was soon followed by anger when she remembered Chike had gone with him to the engagement. Infact, the man still had on the clothes from the pictures, further confirming that they were not fabricated.
