Suspicions
“Just drop me here.”
I didn’t replied and pull over the car. “Aren’t you coming home?” I asked him.
“Sounds wife to me,” he teased again and I almost kicked him out of my car. “Kidding, yeah. I have a friend nearby so I’ll be back tomorrow, maybe. It’s not like you care, right detective?” he smirked.
“Yeah, get lost.”
I heard him chuckles before getting off my car with his things then he speaks again. “Ah right, if you ever miss the kiss just tell me, okay?”
“I’ll send you to Jesus if you ever speak about it,” I warned him.
“HAHAHA!” he laughs hard. “I’ll take that as a thank you then.”
“Whatever,” I hissed and started driving towards Hueningkai’s house. He lives in a subdivision alone.
“Hi hyung, how was it in there? Did you get anything?” he asked me and offered a hot coffee.
“Nah, he’s a dick,” I answered right away.
“D-dick? Why?” he asked in a confused face that made me chuckles.
“Nevermind. Have you gathered some information?” I asked instead.
He shook his head. “None, I think they paused the investigation at the meantime—“
“What!? Why? Choi Soobin told them something! Why aren’t they moving their asses?” I complained.
“That’s it. Mr. Choi’s testimony isn’t that quiet helpful at all. Same as the other witness just this tall without specific meters, black clothes and nothing else. How can we identify someone with just little information?” he stated.
I sigh and lean on the chair. “You’re right. Goddamnit! This is making me fucking sick!” I whined. “I feel sorry to my parents because I’m so useless,” I muttered.
“Yeonjun hyung,” Kai called me. “It’s okay to feel like hopeless sometimes but don’t say such things. You are doing everything that you can, hyung. Look, even if you aren’t the investigator of the case, you’re still doing everything that you can,” he comforts me.
I smiled at him. “Thank you, Huening,” I expressed. “Ah! Mom and dad! I’m sorry! I’m not gonna say that again. Your son will definitely catch him!” I yelled in nowhere and chuckles along with Kai.
I need to. It’s not just my parents. There are so much victims out there that deserves justice. He’s not a human anymore. He’s a psychopath, a devil who doesn’t have a heart.
“I’m going to crush him,” I muttered subconsciously. I quickly looked at Huening and he was shocked when he heard it. I smiled, “I’m sorry. M-maybe I’m just tired,” I apologized.
“You should get some rest, hyung.”
I spend the night at Hueningkai’s house. I couldn’t sleep properly because there’s so much in my head especially Choi Soobin— not in any malicious fucking way! Please!
I meant, I know he know something and I don’t fucking care getting in trouble just to make him speak about it. If he isn’t just cocky as fuck I already extracted information from him!
