Apologies
“Spades, we need to get rid of Hueningkai or he’ll ruin everything.”
“Should we?” Spades wonder while playing with a charcoal pencil. “What do you think Club?” he asked the other.
“I can’t think of any reason why we need to do it,” Club reasoned out. “If we’re going to kill someone, it should be Choi Beomgyu,” he suggested.
“Choi Beomgyu?” Spades mentioned and stopped playing with the pencil on his fingers. “When should I?”
“Who’s there!? It’s already fucking 2 in the morning!” Yeonjun shouted and open the door. “H-hey! Choi Beomgyu! Fuck, how much did you drink!?” he exclaimed and guided Beomgyu towards the sofa.
“I didn’t drink anything,” Beomgyu denied and closed his eyes as he leans.
“Yeah sure,” Yeonjun just replied while taking his shoes off. “Go wash yourself! Where the fuck were you for two days!?” he scolded.
“Argh! Just there,” Beomgyu replied out of himself. “Hey Yeonjun!” he called.
“Oh what!? I’m going to get you water!” Yeonjun replied with annoyance and stood up but Beomgyu held his wrist.
“Do you like Soobin that much? Eventhough you know who he is?” Beomgyu asked seriously.
Yeonjun didn’t reply and slowly took off Beomgyu’s hand from him and went to the kitchen and pour some water into the glass and lend it to him. “Drink,” he said.
Beomgyu didn’t take the glass. “I… I only did mistake to you just one time or maybe two and you hated me so much and avoided my like I’m some kind of a virus but Soobin… Soobin’s—“ Beomgyu didn’t continue what he’s about to say when he bursted in crying.
“Soobin’s a monster? Soobin’s a demon? What? What do you want to say? I had enough of those, Beomgyu—“
“Then why!? Then why do you still like him!? He’s going to fucking kill you, Choi Yeonjun!” Beomgyu shouted.
Yeonjun put the glass on the table and sighs lightly. “Did I say I’m going to let him kill me? No. I’m going to live,” Yeonjun stated. “You should take a rest now.”
Beomgyu didn’t say anything already and just silently cry. He has so much to say. He has so much to tell but he couldn’t. He wants to protect him so much. He wants to protect the one he love.
“Stop thinking I like Soobin, Choi Beomgyu,” Yeonjun stated and smiled at him.
Yeonjun smiled at him for assurance. Yeonjun as well have so much word to say to the younger but he chose not to. Yeonjun is protecting him in his own ways. He knows that if Beomgyu will still believe what he believes right now, he won’t do anything stupid to protect Yeonjun.
“How should I? I can see the fondness in your eyes that were used to be for me.”
Beomgyu stood up and enter a room then banged the door. Yeonjun just sighs and frustratedly walk towards the room where Beomgyu entered. He was about to knock but he stopped when he heard sobs from the inside.
Hearing those made him looked down and whispered, “I’m sorry.”
Yeonjun stayed outside the room until he can’t hear any cries anymore. He slowly opens the door and he found Beomgyu sleeping because of tiredness. He fixed his bed, covered him with thick blanket and he noticed something when he lift his other arm.
